Great sport in Hobe Sound to get simple, but well prepared and fairly priced comfort food. Really hearty Shepherd’s Pie, home made meat loaf and my new favorite, a Cuban pork and black bean rice bowl. Just south of Bridge Road off Old Dixie Hwy.

Absolutely awful!!! Ordered snails and muscles. Literally received 6 snails in an extremely hot 6 slot pan aluminum pan. Clearly frozen food. Snails come in a bowl of 40 at any seafood restaurant. Muscles were frozen and disgusting. Deff DO NOT COME HERE. I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN SOMETHING WAS UP WHEN EVERYONE INSIDE IS 60+

It’s all about the food. I have eaten there three times. The first time I got fish and chips it was absolutely incredible. Good portion of fish with wonderful sweet potato fries and coleslaw. There was a wonderful dip for the sweet potato fries. However, the second time I visited the fish and chips was not as good. The third time I visited I was incredibly disappointed in the fish and chips. The fish tasted like grease. The grease that the fish was fried and soaked into the breading on the fish and it really tasted terrible. Terrible aftertaste. I never complaining restaurant. Ever. But I thought it would be helpful to let the staff know that something went wrong with this particular piece of fish. The girl I mentioned it to told me I should have told her that and she would have replaced it. She was a little short with me. I told her I don’t like to complain. I just wanted them to be aware that this needed to be fixed. She was neither kind nor apologetic. She was a bit offended. That sucks. I hate to make people feel bad. I just wanted them to get this right. So in a nutshell, the atmosphere at Taste is good. The food, hit and miss. The wait staff is very kind. But whatever you do, don’t tell them if something doesn’t taste very good. You only made to feel a little stupid for doing that. Final note. There’s a waitress named Candice who is incredibly nice every time I have visited.

It’s a really cute place. The wait was really long. And hour from when sat down till we go our food. But it’s worth it. The coleslaw is amazing! They use a citrus blend, best I’ve ever had.

A very nice, homey place with delicious food. The entire building is very casual with eclectic decorations and a beautiful fireplace in the main room. Food choices are excellent, not too expensive and the food is delicious. I had the portobello mushroom sandwich which was very well done. Also had a piece of the orange cake which was absolutely fantastic! Will be back again!

Some of the best food I have had in a local diner in a long time. Tasty, fresh, and a one of a kind place. The wait staff is incredible. I have a unique opportunity of getting to see the kitchen as well, and it is by far one of the cleanest places I have ever seen. 5 stars and I will be back many more times!!
