Their Chinese food is quite delicious and authentic. My friends from CA love the food. It’s decor is also pretty new and nice! Just beware that there might be waiting time for the table if you walk in over the weekends for dinner as well as waiting time for the food to be served. We had a lot to catch up with so we’re fine with it. The delicious dishes definitely make up for the long waiting! We had four dishes and all of them turn out to be delicious and right on the spot taste! We were so hungry that I didn’t get to take the chance to take pictures of the dishes until we were almost through them. lol

Ordered via phone for pickup. Place was super busy and the wait was about ~45 minutes but that was understandable. When I got home the pan fried noodles combination sauce wasn’t there. We tried to called 19 times and finally got an answer the 20th time. The lady didn’t believe that the sauce wasn’t there and said that it would be on the side. We told her we know, but it wasn’t there. We went back to pick it up and when we opened the sauce container it didn’t have the beef or seafood. They then added it but 1/4 of the container was empty. The food is always good and consistent but for 21 dollars I was hoping the order would be correct, not just pan fried noodles, and we didn’t have to drive back for them to fix it.

It’s honestly ok here. The atmosphere is weird (random panting if horses, painting of rocks and flowers, and little league baseball on the TV). The food took ages! About 40 minutes. The duck was good, but had a lot of bones. Sesame balls for dessert were ok. I wouldn’t recommend.

Taste is a very authentic Chinese restaurant with some minor “american chinese” dishes available.

Can’t wait to come back & try more dishes! First time here, stopped in for lunch with my friend (we’ve frequented places in Chinatown together) and were both very impressed with the quality, freshness and deliciousness of our lunch! Spotlessly clean & friendly service, highly recommend

I always try the chilli oil 1st at Chinese restaurants, because if they can’t get the simplest condiments right the rest will show a lack of attention to detail. Taste is good with an extensive menu with many options. It was busy at lunch, especially after a bus dropped off 30 people. I got the Cucumber salad, salt and pepper fried chicken cartilage and the braised diced duck with stir fried rice noodles . Everything tasted very fresh and authentic, so I definitely will be back to try some more of the adventurous menu items.

The restaurant is located in the southwest part of the city on rainbow Blvd. There is tight parking for the restaurant. The decor of the restaurant is nice. The service was good. When they have fresh seafood, those dishes are delicous. They have limited selection of wine and beer.

This restaurant is solid and is one of my top recommendation if you’re craving Chinese food. Having lived in Taiwan, traveled to various destinations in Asia and growing up in Los Angeles, I’ve been spoiled with Chinese food and developed a tastebud for delicious eats. Here are my recs. Harbor style lobster, french style diced ribeye, peking duck, yang zhou fried rice, sizzling beef black pepper and fresh goby fish.

I’ve come twice now. Once for dinner and the second time for lunch.
