Honestly…the food is really really good but the service needs some work. Me & my coworker ordered food and it took over an hour to make one meal and 2 sides. Then we were told our order would be canceled because they cant make it on time, they ended up making it but still got the sides wrong .. and still had to wait when it was time to pick up. I wouldn’t order from them unless I have time to kill, not when we have scheduled breaks to take.

The chef prepared food for my daughters shower and it was very well received. I did not have any problems with customer service or any issues with delivery and set up by the staff at the venue next door. I also ate there for lunch and the chef was super nice and had answers for my questions about catering the event. Don’t pass up an opportunity to have a scrumptious meal at the restaurant Taste 778!

Ignore every bad review because this spot never misses!!! Each meal I’ve ordered has been perfection and this is my go-to for Soul Food in Greater Hartford. My first time trying the fish today and it is so flavorful and moist. I usually order takeout too so bonus points for the food tasting as fresh as eating in.

My go-to for soul food in my area! Everything from the sides dishes to the main courses are well seasoned and plentiful……most times I order I have about half of my food left for seconds. Probably been eating with them since their first location years ago and they’ve only improved in quality

Customer service was horrible, I purchased the fish and shrimp dinner . The food was rushed, shrimp was over seasoned, batter fell off and was undercooked. The whitings were “old” had a very fishy taste not fresh. The fries were good ( I opted not to get their seasoning) pricing I deem fair but overall experience 1/10 . Would not recommend

If I could give a place zero stars just based off the owner’s attitude I would. I don’t eat from restaurants with low vibrational energy and that’s exactly what this place is serving! I got called fat, lazy, told I would get hot oil thrown on me by the owner of this establishment. She is very ghetto, not well mannered at all either. I can see this place being shut down in the next year or so. No one wants to eat from a place with poor mannerisms. Not to mention the reason behind her disrespect was all bc I suggested she have a sign big enough for people to see for her parking lot. If you cannot take constructive criticism and you don’t know that the customer is always right then you should not own a business. It is totally unprofessional to call someone out their name due to your ego being too big to handle someone’s opinion. Just shut the whole building down at this point.

Great food but the people upfront have major attitudes. I called from Springfield, she put me on hold. I arrived at the restaurant she still hadn’t took me off hold and I watched her as she was on on her phone leaning back on that chair. Always such an attitude when you call.
