We just had THE BEST food and experience here! Everything was perfect, no issues whatsoever, great service, wonderful environment and the food tasted amazing! Big, fulfilling portions also, we definitely got full and have enough for lunch tomorrow. Best Italian food we have found and we’ve eaten at nearly every one in the Tampa Bay area! Blew all the others out of the water! We drove here from Spring Hill and it was worth every second of the 45 min drive. We even had the pleasure of meeting the owner, he was so super nice and even surprised our girls with cannolis to take home! Made their night ❤️ The waiter was top notch as well! We will definitely be back! Thanks so much for the great experience ❤️

The server claimed the garlic knots were freshly made yet they were luke warm and hard. The butter topping was bland and made of what appeared to be margarine or some other cheap and bland tasting product from a plastic jar. The salads were very mediocre and the food came out way too fast. Still had a full salad to eat. The five families dinner plate was a mess. Luke warm. The pasta is store bought tasting and was hard around the edges. The waiter said all of the pasta is made in house and fresh daily. I dispute this and ask the owners to prove this claim. I have been to Italy multiple times and this is not homemade. If it is then you need cooking classes immediately. Additionally, if someone calls and asks for a table at 530pm don’t lie and say we are on 20 minute wait and only have a high top available without reservations. We walked inside two minutes later and the entire front bar area only had two people inside and the dining room had about 10 open tables. Stop lying to your customers by trying to make it sound like you are super busy and reservations are needed. The owner or manager never did a table visit. The “specials” were sold out or only had one left for the night at 6 pm on a Friday ? Tasso, do yourself a huge favor and go eat at Espositos in Tampa and take a notebook and camera phone. You are a mom and pop Olive Garden at best. The sausage link in the five families was hard to cut let alone eat. Your meatballs need seasoning. Pay attention to the little things Tasso. Stop serving marinara sauce in Tchotchke plastic cups too. So cheap. And buy yourself a can of white spray paint for the outside tables that are chipped and new touched up, these are very off putting to look at coming or going, especially when your lazy staff doesn’t greet or hold the door coming or going. No thank you no goodnight get a host/hostess to attend the front door. Basic culinary 101

My first time there, and I loved it! Party of 6 celebrating an 18 year old’s birthday. Service was awesome, food was very slow coming out… Over an hour. But my guests told me everything is fresh and made to order, so that explained it. So we had more drinks and that delicious garlic bread and appetizers and.. Wait…. Maybe that’s the catch. LOL. Just kidding… The food was really good and worth the wait when you’re enjoying yourself. I’ll definitely be back. I highly recommend you go, if you want to treat yourself to authentic Italian food and great service.

This was our first time eating at Taso Italiano. Right off the bat we met the owner Taso. He was very friendly and welcoming. We were sat at lovely table and Sierra was our waitress. She was very informative and attentive. There were 4 of us. We each ordered a lovely wine and shared the fried ravioli which were delicious. We order the Chicken Carbonara, seafood pasta, shrimp Fra Diablo and chicken Parmigiana. All were delicious and very large portions. She shared a delicious dessert of cheese cake with carrot cake and caramel sauce. When leaving we were able to meet Bobby the chef, along with the bartender, Taso’s lovely wife and their new puppy. They made us feel like family. We look forward to eating at the restaurant again. The food is delicious and the staff makes you feel like family. This restaurant is a win win!!!
