Came here for dinner while on a weekend getaway to the beach. From start to finish it was top notch. As an Italian and someone from New England with real Italian resturants everywhere, this place is real deal. Reservations and seating was smooth. We sat on the patio which was so nice, shaded and great ambiance. Our server was professional, friendly and on top if it. The food was AMAZING. Calamari cooked to perfect. The seafood super fresh and clean. Even our son’s pizza tasted like brick oven pizza back home. Thank you for a great dinner!

Tarantelli’s was awesome! It is located in its own large building downtown and has a nice vibe. I loved all of the food we tried. The house made pastas and marinara sauce were very authentic tasting. I had the eggplant parmigiana as my main course and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. There’s also a great wine selection list here with many Italian wines to choose from.

We ordered the charcuterie board as an appetizer & it was delicious. One of us ordered the flounder special and said it was the “best flounder dish” he’s ever had. Two of us ordered the spaghetti made in a parmesan wheel. Gavin was our waiter, he was fantastic & very attentive. This place is a gem.

This place is worth the hype! The food is SO delicious! The filet mignon bruschetta melts in your mouth its so tender. The steak literally cuts like butter. And the gnocchi are little pillows of deliciousness, light as clouds! The cocktails are amazing too! The wait staff are friendly, and quick to clear dishes when your finished, and pack your food in containers to take home. The atmosphere is so cozy and romantic. I just can’t say enough good things about this place. It is my favorite restaurant in Wilmington!

The wonderer
We came for our 5 year anniversary and were not disappointed at all. The food was great and the server was amazing!!!! Even though the restaurant was full it was not loud inside like a lot of restaurants. We were able to watch our neighbors get the pasta made in the cheese wheel which was nice. We are always going to recommend this restaurant as a must place to eat.

Excellent service, ambience, and food. Our waiter said he had been there since Tarantelli’s opened. He was very knowledgeable, had great recommendations, and helped make our wedding anniversary special. It was our first visit, so of course we had to split the spaghetti al formaggio parmigiana (aka: ask for the cheese wheel). I would definitely recommend! The tiramisu and cannolli trio desserts were a perfect end to our meal. We can’t wait to return and try a few different pasta dishes!

The best Italian food I have had on a LONG time. Great atmosphere and great service. We had 12 of us. 6 adults and 6 kids. Kids ranging from 17-13. They sat at their own table and were treated with the up most respect. Our server Josh, who also served the kids was great. Very friendly and helpful when it came to questions about the food and drink options. We will definitely make this a must stop next time we are here.
