Authentic and very good. Their carrot and onion salsa is the bomb! I have not found it anywhere else and wish they sold it in large jars. The street tacos are unmatched. Seriously, give them a try. Be advised, unless it has changed recently, they only accept cash as payment. There is also only bottled drinks unless you try their frescas. And kudos to the awesome family who operate the restaurant. They are very nice and you will see they all care very much about their business and each other.

This place gets a definite A. The salsa was the most amazing first ever type of salsa like that I have ever tasted. All the food tasted like grandmother made them straight out of Mexico. These were real recipes. Flavors were out of this world. Be looking for a video review on YouTube Jack on the go show.

Beautiful little place to grab a bite to eat with lovely, friendly folks keeping it rolling along. The large, custom mural on the wall is something I wanted to ask about while there but it never came up in conversation; I bet there’s a cool little story behind that they’d love to share. 😉

Food is extremely overpriced for what you get so make sure you ask for the price before you order because of course, their prices aren’t listed. My husband ordered 5 chicken street tacos that had mostly onions and hardly any chicken. I ordered a torta sandwich that had one slice of ham and a hotdog meat in it. He ordered a coke and I got an horchata which was way too sweet so I asked for some water to mix in it and of course they only offered bottled water. So we ate our meal and we were still kinda hungry, we decided to get an order of grilled shrimp to share that came with about 18 medium sized shrimp, pretty good but didn’t come with anything other than the shrimp. I asked for chips to eat the shrimp with, and of course, again that was extra! We finally finished eating and grabbed 2 popsicles at the register thinking that we couldn’t have ordered over $50 worth of food. Well we were charged a whopping $78 plus tip for mediocre portioned food. I asked her how much each food item cost since she didn’t give me a receipt and walked off completely ignoring me. Wecould have eaten twice at any other Mexican restaurant with that money.

I would not suggest this restaurant. When I walked in, no one said hi and then after a few minutes they said hi to the person that walked in right behind me. I ordered two carne asada tacos to go. The person that came behind me was getting a to go order. No one else was in the restaurant. They did have a set up for a large party that came in about 5 minutes later. After waiting 10 minutes I was given 1 taco, for $5. I left and then I looked at my taco and went back in. I told them I only received 1 taco. The lady opened it and then went in the back. She came back out and said, no there are 2 shells, it is 2 tacos. She pulled it apart and showed the 2 shells. I said okay and went to leave. She said she would have them remade. At this point I was no longer interest and said just forget it. She did offer to give me my $5 back. I told her to keep it and left.

Great authentic Mexican food! When the reviews say hole-in-the-wall, they mean it. Loved the super casual atmosphere. Bring cash! They only take cash. Menu is in Spanish but you can figure it out or ask questions. They have Mexican Coke products which is awesome! Everything tasted great.
