I did not want to eat here after I walked in, but I was with a coworker, and she was ready to leave right away, but neither one of us knew it so we wasted our $$$. This place was not sanitary, looked like somebody’s garage, and is NOT a safe place to eat. The staff does not speak English but my Spanish is good enough to order, say thank you and hold a conversation. Got my food and immediately said no. So if you’re considering this for lunch or dinner – save your money. There is no atmosphere or sanitary conditions and certainly the food is too $$$$.

Delicious tacos served out of a tiny building sandwiched between 3 roads. No clear parking and very limited outdoor only seating. I tried the barbacoa, pollo, and carne asada, with a tamarind juice. Tacos were made fresh, and seemed to be quality ingredients. The green sauce has some kick!

Best burrito in New Orleans.

This is a little roadside stand on the Westbank Expressway. Not a sit down restaurant. There are a couple of seats and a counter to eat at if you’re in a hurry.

Major drop in the quality of food. I think they may have gone under new management within the last year or so. I’ve been here regularly for almost three years, sometimes enjoying 6-12 of the best tacos on the West Bank as much as three times a week. However, my last few trips were disappointing. The Carne Asada tacos (that tasted like ground beef instead) were incredibly dry and poorly seasoned. The East bank location at least still has Carne Asada, but I don’t think I even finished a bite because of how dry and over cooked it was; the meat was literally hard. My boyfriend squeezed the meat and nothing happened; it held shape and no juice came out. I couldn’t help but feel as though this was personal attack; that’s how dry this meat was. The worst of all, they still charge $3.00 a taco; the prices they charged when their quality was through the roof. Go somewhere else or save your money this place is expensive and unfortunately not worth it anymore.

Food looked delicious, the flavor didn’t back it up.

An authentic taqueria in the NOLA area! I had 3 chicken tacos (pictured). They had the perfect balance of meat, cilantro, and onion on corn tortillas. They come with lime and salsa verde with just the right amount of heat. Outdoor seating only.

Ordered a Burrito with no sour cream .And tipped . Should have checked before i left. Had to drive back and tell them i asked for no sour cream twice before i left . That is why i didn’t check it, Got the next burrito and it was mostly lettuce and tomatoes very very little meat . Thought i was eating a veggie burrito. will never be back again.
