I went here for the first time today. Have lived in the area from ’06 to now, lived in Mauldin for the last 6 years. I have taken my dogs to get groomed and shirts to be tailored at the same strip yet never tried it. I have been missing out! But today will not be the last time we go there. They were not super busy so our service was great. Quaint, nice little Mexican restaurant with good food and good service. Green sauce was the bomb!

This place has never disappointed us! This is our top spot for tacos and other authentic Mexican fare. I wish I had more pictures of their food, but their tacos are made with homemade tortillas! My personal favorites are tripa and chorizo, and of course barbacoa when they have it on the weekends! The sopes de carnitas are always a favorite and their daily specials vary in style but always hit on taste. Don’t miss out!

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, the tacos here are $1, for the most part. For a list of tacos please see the pictures above. The tacos come with limes and an optional cilantro and onions. The tacos are only single-layer, however, who cares for the price point.

Came here today for the first time and ordered a lot of food. The five stars is just for Daniel himself. Daniel was very knowledgeable and helped me order. I will definitely come back here just for the hospitality. I’m sure the food is great as well. Can’t go wrong with homemade Mexican food. Thank you Daniel

Hubby and I went for the first time to Taqueria Restaurante Simon off Main Street in Mauldin. Food was excellent, as was the service. I asked the waitress a bunch of questions and she was very helpful. They have 99 cent tacos on Taco Tuesdays, which is why we went. I ordered the chicken tacos and my husband ordered pork. The horchata was also really amazing. All this, including the horchata was less than $10. Highly recommend!

The tacos are some of the best and most authentic I’ve had beyond from Mexico. Service was efficient and I enjoyed the glass bottle coke. Always a favorite for myself.

Real Mexican food … no Americanized soupy beans or swimming in cheese. This is the Real Deal. Taco Tuesday specials with many varieties of Tacos and Quesidillas for $1 or $2. The servers are super nice and will help explain the different dishes served. Highly recommend for a very casual, excellent lunch.

Small unassuming Mexican restaurant located in a strip center on Main Street. Good inexpensive food and very filling. Large variety of menu options. Subtle flavors come through nicely. Seems to be a very popular place with the locals. Taco Tuesday only .99 cents! Simple, authentic foods. Great Mojarra, fajitas and guacamole at a more than reasonable price. The staff is welcoming and friendly. Nothing fancy, just good, authentic Mexican food.

My first impression of the restaurant was that it was very clean! Came here for Saturday lunch with my husband. Service was also very wonderful and we got our food fast. I got a carnitas huarache and a tripas taco. Both choices were so delicious! He got carne asada and al pastor tacos. Everything was so delicious and authentic. They offer two salsa options, both are spicy and the green one was my favourite. Overall happy with the service and food options, will definitely come back to try more of the options offered.
