They serve me quesabirrias full of fat and no meat! How they expect someone to eat only fat. And they want to charge and expect a tip. This is the 2nd time I’m very disappointed. I used to recommend this place but i no longer recommend eating or ordering here.

Horrible service. I always order through door dash and almost every time I have ordered, especially ” tortas” de milanesa, they screw up the order, even if I write the damn instructions in Spanish! ( I’m Hispanic). Once I asked for no jalapenos on the tortas, they served it with jalapenos, they tend to overcook the meat ( almost burnt) then I also have ordered chips and salsa , and 3 times either they don’t send it or they forget the salsa to go with it. Also, they tend to wrap the tortas in aluminum foil and then they cut with knife, be careful! I have found slivers of the foil in the torta. Also, they forgot to give me my plantains and instead they gave me fries. Total incompetence!!! I’m done going here!!! Perhaps they should learn to read orders/instructions in English!!!!!

It’s in a whole-in-the-wall strip mall, but the interior is quaint with nice wood & metal tables and chairs, a beautiful mural on the wall that speaks “home made good food.” And it was!

Spent $60 on the food it was completely worth it. The Agua fresca was delicious. The pupusas are great although not enough surtido For my taste, the burrito de lengua is so good too.

My husband and I tried Taqueria Number 1 for the first time tonight: chicken alambre, 3 pupusas, and guacamole with chips togo. The food was SO good it made me sentimental because it reminded me so much of eating in Mexico! The flavorful salsas and fresh tortillas made everything that much better. Everything is also fairly priced for the portions and quality of food you receive. We can’t wait to eventually try the whole menu, 10 stars!

New to Charlotte and searching for great tacos. These street tacos and quesadilla were delicious and will definitely be coming back! We were impressed and happy with this find. Tacos are only $1.99 on a normal day and $1.50 on Tuesdays.
