Going south for Sunday breakfast tacos. Way Down on Williams Cannon at Taqueria Morales.

Barbacoa is the star of the show while chicken fajita and bisteck were just okay. 4 dollars per specialty taco and 3.50 for the chicken a total of 11.90ish. And honestly at those prices for three smallish tacos it was not worth it to me. Some people will find more value in that but I was far from satisfied sadly.

Some of the best breakfast tacos I’ve ever had….delicious homemade tortillas. They take their time because food is made to order.

This is my favorite taco spot in all of Austin. I’ve eaten here more times than I can remember. Small and unassuming, but delicious tacos. Reasonably priced as well. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

Prior to moving to San Antonio, this place was our go to nearly every weekend for either breakfast or dinner. Barbacoa tacos were always a hit. No fat trimmings, just flavorful, quality meat…hands down the best tasting barbacoa. The gringas (pastor and cheese), burritos, tortas that were served with bread that was crispy on the out and soft and airy on the inside, their specialty tacos like the tripas (I always requested cooked to a crisp), and hamburgers were fantastic – bun toasted on the grill, meat was full of juicy flavor, crispy lettuce and that melting cheese. I enjoyed their pastor tacos or tortas with tender meat and pineapple sweetness. The consistency of their food is spot on. Don’t forget their green salsa, not too hot, just packed with all the right ingredients for a delicious touch of salsa goodness.

Today, I tried picadillo street taco, tamale and egg with cactus taco. All were amazing, they were hot and well cooked. I am trying tamale for the first time, now I am a big fan of it. I cannot compare the taste of any of the above but I will stop by again just for the tamale.

Bring cash!!! Excellent tacos! New favorite truck in the area – be sure to try the cactus/asada taco and barbacoa! $6 for a solid two taco lunch that can’t be beat!

I placed an order of 3 dozen tamales yesterday for today. Let me just say that they handled it very well. The food was hot the packaging was great. And the service was friendly. Even recieved a call in the morning to let me know the food was ready. Both chicken and pork were delicious.

LEGIT… and the deal of the century is hand-written on a bit of cardboard, right above the “CASH ONLY” sign, in the middle of the windowed section: “6 mini tacos $10” three of them were enough for me. WOW.
