The best mexican food in the area and the best I’ve had in NY! Everything here is delicious. The chicken burrito? Fantastic. The huaraches? So good.. filling but not too heavy like a lot of Mexican food is. The chalupas and tacos are also delicious. The rice and beans are to DIE FOR. I could literally eat these every day the rest of my life. 100% recommend this place to everyone. I’ve ordered from here a few times already and will be ordering many, many more.

It’s definitely a hidden gem. To manage expectations the place is a small market that happens to serve some great food. Always busy expect a bit of a wait. Grabbed some mango, spiced up, and headed to the small patio to wait.

Ordered an enchilada- each component felt separate and not a cohesive dish. The sauce also tasted like the same as the green hot sauce just less spicy. The pulled chicken inside the tortilla had no seasoning, just plain chicken rolled in warmed tortillas seasoned with blitzed tomatillo and garnished with semi spoiled cheese and cream.

Every thing I have gotten from here has been excellent so far. Tacos are lovely, especially the tongue, Sopes are righteous, nachos, chilaquiles, even the burger is good. When you get inside, you’ll see just how authentic they are. They’ve got a few not so easy to find grocery items as far as Latin cuisine. Get there
