I found this little gem of a Mexican taco stand around the Corner from the QT truck stop on Fulton Industrial. At lunch it was filled with orange and yellow safety vests worn by hard working presumably Mexican guys …. it is the real deal, delicious, and reasonably priced. Very pleasant people. I need to come back in the morning for the Huevos Rancheros or Chile Rellenos. Peasant food made Aristocratic. 5 star!

Very good authentic tacos, they have homemade tortillas and give a very good balanced portions. The salsa verde is amazing and pairs very well with the pastor. I 100% recommend this little hole in the wall restaurant. A hidden gem!

Since I don’t eat meat, and was in the mood for tacos, I decided to go in just to check if they had fish tacos. Lucky for me, they did! It was not on the menu, so I asked for 2. They were made with catfish and the cashier and I joked about how to say catfish in Spanish “Gato pescado!” With the spicy sauce, they were so good, that I decided to order 3 more to take home. Mind you, I live over an hour away. When I’m in the neighborhood, I’ll definitely go back!

Take a look at the photo below. From left to right we have a concrete floor that was poured incorrectly and no attempt was ever made to level it. 4″ drop over 10ft, with tile just thrown on top. The salsa bar is homemade with half a rusted out home depot shelf and half a sneeze guard that looks like it came out of a shoneys. The drink cooler says coke on it and was probably free… From coke…. 20 year ago. The veggy cooler has a broken door which it compensates for by being turned all the way up. And the painting and decor in general looks like it was done by a 10 year-old. This isn’t some back room, this is their main dining lobby. With all this stuff wrong with just a small section of wall, you would assume I picked the uglyest spot in the place…… I didn’t. The whole place looks like this. So I guess you’re asking yourself at this point, why would I want to eat here??? They serve the best Mexican food this side of Alabama, THAT’S WHY!!

It’s not Taco Tuesday so I went with something other than tacos. I’m telling you, this lady makes dreams come true. Gordita, quesadilla and sope to rival any you’ve had before, if not beat the pants off whatever you had before. The sauces are bomb too! I would ask her to marry me, but I think she’s taken. Either way, I’m coming back for tacos.

This is NOT authentic Mexican food. My boyfriend and I purchased a quesadilla and my boyfriend ordered the steak chimichanga. Both were literally wet and soggy. The chimichanga has more beans and to much cilantro than anything else in it and very little meat. My quesadilla was full of cheese and what looked to be some type of cottage cheese as well with lettuce and very little unseasoned chicken. We asked to leave it on the grilled to crisp the tortilla and it was stll not good at all.We also order chips. We were expecting fresh cooked chips and we received the .99 cent store bought chips. We were soooo disappointed because we love mexican food .. We had to pay for rice and beans because it did not come with it the chimichanga. And we received yellow mushy flavorless minute rice and refried canned beans . It was gross! We couldn’t even finish eating our food and my boyfriend ending up having the runs the rest of the night because of it. We just moved in the area and we have not found a good Mexican place yet. We will not be going back. Good luck!

Adjacent to a gas station.. Small menu but great flavors. Enjoyed tacos al pastor (no pineapple included unfortunately) and rice and refried beans better than average. Would come back again if in the area.

Had something hard, like bb size in one of my tacos, hurt my tooth, and ruined the rest of my meal. I’m skeptical about going back
