I go for breakfast, lunch, and sometimes diner! It’s great food fairly priced. I have many favorite menu items. But even better is how well you’ll be treated. If you like good food, to be around good people, and to be welcomed like family, this is the place to be. After 10yrs of eating here, I’m still not tired of this local gem and many of the other regulars would agree, it’s easy to make this place your second home.

Would have loved to try their food but they never brought it to me. At 10:45 AM, I ordered food with my boyfriend and they only brought his food out. The table behind me got their food as well. Our waitress promptly set down chips and salsa for a large table that came in (we were never offered chips and salsa). Had to flag her down to let her know we wanted the check and to cancel my order. She asked if I wanted something else and I said no, cause who knows how long that wait would be. If she would have checked on us, she would have known I was sitting there for 15 minutes waiting for my food. I had ordered caldo so that was already cooked before I even got there, so if anyone should have got their food 1st it should have been me. It’s a shame cause I was looking forward to trying Los Altos but terrible service will put me off from a business forever.

You just won’t believe it until you try it yourself. It’s a small business with big flavor and great pricing. A defiant hole in the wall that is a hidden Austin treasure. Just be careful how much you order. These are Texas size servings and the salsa has that slow burn.

Mundane. So-so. Middle of the Road and Mediocre. None of these describe this food. It is so flavorful and filling. My husband and I came for a lunch date while he was delivering in the area and service was quick, kind and helpful to us first timers. Their house chips were warm and the salsa was spicy, but not so spicy that this false alarm girl couldn’t get in a good few scoops before it hit me. Our entrees were great and hot off the oven. We will definitely be back.
