A crowd favorite in Overland Park and where ever our food truck lands, we are now opening a brick and mortar in the heart of Westport! You frequently hear people say that ‘the food is as good as mexico’ or ‘just like we ate in mexico’. I have been a permanent resident of Mexico since 2008 (still maintain a farm here) and I have eaten thousands of tacos (I’m a fat guy) The items that we ordered were better than most of the places that I’ve eaten in Mexico. No fusion or gringofied food here… just straight up authentic Mexican food. We had tacos de asada and tacos de pastor, quesabirria tacos, and we ordered a burrito but we’re too full to try it… Can’t wait to go back and try the straight up Birria and a Some other items…the tortas also looked fabulous!

Guy taking our food order was rude. My husband ordered first and he asked if that was all then when I started to add my order he told me to wait because he was taking my husbands order. I had my husband place my order at that point since he didn’t want to take it from me. I ordered a steak burrito with no rice and beans the guy had noted a burrito with no rice beans or meat. When my husband asked him to correct it he started to argue with him. He corrected the food order but we traveled from out of town and went off the reviews thinking this place would be great but the customer service definitely lacks.

I’ve only been once so far. The food was good, the restaurant was clean, and the staff was friendly. I really want to come back and try their drinks when they get their liquor license! The queso dip was delicious! They have multiple kinds of agua fresca to choose from. I got a burrito with no meat, and my partner got quesabirria. We both enjoyed our food and will be back!

This was my first visit, I ordered some campechano nachos and when I was ready to eat I found a small container of meat which did not cover the nachos, I feel that what they give you is very little meat

Loved the creamy hot sauce. The variety was superb. All the taco options were great as was the pricing as we’ve seen ppl charging $3+ for a taco with less meat, oily or super dry tortillas and flavorless sauce. It was our first time trying it and we’ll be back!

We stopped here not knowing what to expect and wow are we glad we did. The food was absolutely outstanding! This is truly authentic, not like all the other chains claiming to be authentic. The people were absolutely sweet and helpful. I do wish the atmosphere was a little but more comfortable but it is very clean and nice. I will be returning!
