This is a hidden gem — the staff are so warm and hospitable, the food is simple yet scrumptious, and they have a delicious and generous self-help salsa bar. Every meal comes with a side of chips, and my shrimp fajita bowl was exactly what I needed on the long drive to mammoth lakes (the peppers were cooked perfectly!) <3 Big plus: the bathroom was super clean & had a cute picture of a mountain landscape

Our favorite restaurant to stop at on the way home from Yosemite! This family owned restaurant is fast, delicious, and kind. The portion sizes are large, and the service is excellent. Every trip to the mountains is complete with a stop at Jarro Viejo.

Chilaquiles rojo complete with beans and rice was exactly was I needed and wanted for breakfast. They are open a little earlier than other spots in town. Not too saucy but not dry, the sauce combined with the eggs had the right amount of heat and chili.

We freaking love this place. Their breakfast burritos are dynamite. We typically just get the taco salad with grilled chicken. It’s delicious. Everytime. Consistency is key and they are definitely consistent. So happy to have them in town!

My first time getting food here, I ordered the fajitas with chicken shrimp and steak and it was delicious! Inside is like a real, authentic Mexican restaurant and the patio area is really nice too. I am very impressed and so far I’d recommend them as a go-to place for Mexican food in Oakdale.
