The food here is so-so but not everything is authentic Mexican food. This is my 3rd time eating here but my most recent experience will definitely be my last. It was the first time I purchased a side of the rice and beans and I was disappointed. The beans tasted canned and the rice was bland. I asked my friend what she thought about the food, and she felt the same about the rice and beans as well. I don’t know if the beans are actually canned.. but if not, they need a new recipe for beans and rice. On a brighter note, the tacos are okay and the salsas are tasty and spicy. The staff is friendly and service is quick.

Weeeeeeeakest tacos I had in Tacoma. They charge extra for Carne Asada but yet it’s not even carne asada it’s some cheap cut of meat that has a stew like texture to it and plz look at this salsa. At first I thought it was the vinegar from the jalapeño can cuz it’s so translucent but it’s just water down AF. Échenle ganas por favor no se k onda con estos guerros pero pa la raza no pasa…

Just tried this place for the first time. The worker was very nice and the tamales were the best Mexican food I have had in a long time. It made our car smell amazing lol The carbs are well worth it I promise! Try this place its a must!

Same family/company as the one off of 6th & Mildred. Delicious tacos (juicy, marinated meat) and this seems trivial, but the best rice+beans!! Don’t know why it took me so long to try, but super happy they are right around the corner!

THE best tacos and Mexican food I’ve found in Tacoma and Washington. Their carnitas and chorizo are amazing. The service was so great! The lady who served me felt bad because it was cold outside and went out of her way to bring my order to my car.

I had tried the enchiladas on a previous visit and they were very dry and hard . I thought tonight I would try the tacos as this must be their speciality . I opened the container and the smell of the carnitas tacos was off. two bites and I wanted to throw up ! I had my daughter try them and she has to spit out .

Great food the lady taking orders just sorta ordered what ever she thought i wanted . she wrote down what i was saying to her lr looked like it anyways but when i asked her about the soda the came with my meal she told me i ordered something woth rice and beans and i ordered no such thing 15 tacos doesnt sound like rice and beans
