This is a great hole in the wall Mexican joint. The food is excellently prepared and came out quickly. I got a skirt steak and enchilada plate and it was crazy good. The steak was seasoned well and everything had great flavor. And they bring out three different salsas with their chips, so having some variety is nice. It’s a small space, so it does feel a little cramped and I don’t think I’d eat their if it was full, as it’d be elbow to elbow, but for takeout or a quick lunch, it can’t be beat. This is some of the best Mexican food in the area and you won’t be disappointed if you give them your business.

The salsas are flavorful and they give you 3 choices of salsa with chips. The waitresses are respectful. The food overall is your typical normal Mexican food. The tacos are good but they don’t really fill the taco much. I wish they would’ve given me a good silverware (knife and fork) to eat my food comfortably instead of the plastic spoon. The soft drinks are refreshing and the price is inexpensive. Good for take out.

Love this place. Sizzling hot food, friendly and warm atmosphere. Tried so much on the menu and I’m always happy- the 6$ shrimp ceviche is some of the best I’ve ever had!

Terrible service. If you are or look like you are part of the lgbtq community do not go here! They completely ignored us even when I tried to get their attention. They kept serving other customers. It’s great because I took my money elsewhere to another taco shop shop down the street. Too many other great places in aurora to choose from where they will treat you like a decent human being.

Genuinely one of the best local taquerias I’ve been to, ever. The food here does my culture justice, as someone with a Mexican family. The tacos de asada are a classic, and the onion with cilantro is a must if you order them. Amazing service, amazing interior, and the food gets my seal of approval.

It was one of those days where I had a taste for something very specific which led me to El Tio. I go there infrequent enough to have an understanding of the taste and good enough remembrance the price. I called in a simple chimichanga add cheese on top and I bottled drink. They never tell you the price when I call I so I didn’t bother asking but didn’t anticipate spending $12 for the chimichanga and another $2 for the cheese on top when I got there. My eyebrows popped up because I didn’t order the meal. I hit up the online menu because at that point I’m perplexed. The price on the menu was $7.20, still a bit much but not totally unreasonable. I proceeded to show the cashier who immediately knew what I was about to ask and stopped my before I could and said that was the old price lol. This isn’t one of those “if you broke just say that” instances. If I was I def would preface it lol. The prices are too high for what you’re given.

I couldn’t believe that they gave me a plastic fork and then offered a plastic knife so that I could cut my steak SOPE!!!! The cook plopped about 1/4 cup of sour-cream on the steak bits.

First time! Muy rico! I ordered the quesadilla dinner of al pastor and it was super yummy! Came with my family and everyone loved it. We ordered a piña colada and after the waitress gave it to us a few minutes later she came with another because she said the second one was blended better! Attention to detail, good/fresh tasting meat tasty salsas and much variety. Will come back for sure

One of the best Taquerias in downtown Aurora. Across the street from the Aurora Public Library, this medium size Mexican restaurant has surpassed my expectations, my favorite dish the Desayuno El Tio has making me want to come back more often. They have natural juices, and my choice is the Vampire drink with a mixture of oranges, carrots and beets makes this reddish tinted a delicious and refreshing drink. This truly authentic Mexican taqueria has one of the best customer services I’ve seen, and the cleanliness is excellent. The parking lot is next to the building facing River street.
