We are obsessed with their fajita taco plate. It comes with three fajita tacos (served with lime, cilantro, onions, green sauce, and red sauce), rice, and beans. It is all so tasty and consistently good. I’m so glad we have this gem in South Garland.

The tacos are ok it might be because I went on a not so busy night but the fajita felt old. The pastor are good and the barbacoa is good too. The tortillas are warmed up in fat so they taste really good. Would definately go back and recommend.

I called to make an order to go and they stated they didn’t sell the meat I wanted for my tacos anymore. I of course asked so what meat do y’all have , And the lady said in a rude manner the same as before. She had just said they no longer sold the one I wanted so of course I’m going to ask what do they have. Talk about not having any common sense. Rude and bad customer service by the employee. The fact that during a pandemic when businesses are suffering they still want to have an attitude and have bad customer service is really shocking . Definitely won’t be coming here anymore and neither are any of my friends or family. If they don’t like their job the owner should hire people who actually want to see their business thrive and have returning customers.

They have great salsa Verde and rojo that’s goes great with everything on their menu. Not gonna lie, after coming here for years the beans really depend on who is cooking them that day lol. Sometimes they’re not salty and savory, and sometimes they’re the star of the meal.

I was craving tacos and horchata the other day and so I ordered some. I accidentally ordered wayyyy too early so I knew my food might be cold. I asked my grandmother to grab a duplicate order for me and figured I may just eat the cold one later. My grandfather decided he wanted it despite not liking Mexican food much. This man proceeded to order it THREE DAYS IN A ROW. He was even the one that told me to leave this review. I’m concerned I’m watching an addiction unfold before my eyes but that is what good food will do to you I suppose. We all love this place.

So I gave Taqueria El Primo another try since food is good but I got the same attitude from the young girl at the register then I get home to tacos missing and they are now closed!!!! Even the lady cooking the food was in a bad mood, smh I gave it 2 stars because the food really is good. Needs better customer service!
