I got the Torta de asada, Gordita de pollo and taco de pollo. I really enjoyed the chicken but was hoping it was grilled. The chicken was cooked differently but was still good. Maybe they serve grilled if you ask but I forgot to ask. The torta de asada was delicious with the red sauce. Good service and nice tables inside and outside to dine on.

❌ Do not waste your time here . Upon calling you will encounter problems they dont give you time to explain if you will be paying cash or electronic payment they rush you on the phone this Location (BERWYN) is very unprofessional lack of communication on the phone to it’s customers. I ordered flavored water with my dinner and once I arrived and asked for my order they said they didn’t have it and that if I called that location which we know the difference in franchise locations I have visited both the one on cermak in (cicero)township is great never had a problem! This location how ever is bad as I continue she kept asking if I didn’t make a mistake in ordering I said idknow I just called 10 minutes ago and spoke to you and you took my order and you don’t know what I ordered once we got home to have our “Dinner” it was just bad quality the taco for the baby nearly had any meat on it and as u see on the picture my daughter hand next to mine I can see how much meat is actually on it tiny taco . Very disappointed happy I won’t be giving them my money anymore I rather pay more and get a better service and food .Ugh so unprofessional and rude sometimes businesses like this need a wake up call, need to be thankful they still are open during such difficult times . Very poor service and food quality is bad don’t waste your time ❌

Enjoyed everything we had! Loved the chips & salsa, the Barbacoa taco on grilled flour tortilla, the chicken Gordita & the fries! Clean inside & decent service.

This place is good. Their food is tasty & reasonably priced; you get a decent amount of food for what you pay. Sometimes the steak can be a little too fatty for my preference. I live locally & my family likes to order from here semi-regularly; it’s within walking distance of my house so it’s really convenient too.

El Meson always has great food and service. If you are in the area I recommend getting their bowls, tacos, and chicken flautas. I recently contracted them for a taco bar (taquiza) in couldn’t have gone smoother. Great experience overall!

Sucks the food is good but bexause of Claudia I will never come back. The absolute worst- hung up on me said the order was ready and it wasn’t had us waiting 30 minutes for 5 tacos-—-if you’re looking for lunch while working this is not the place. Nuevo Ponticilion on 26th is the place to go for lunch.

Well…let me begin with we’ve been going there for years. The service and food are exceptional. Every waitress has their unique characteristics that connects the ambiance of the restaurant with the culture of Mexico and in particular, Jalisco. The order of “chilaquiles” is a personal favorite, but almost anything on their menu is worth trying…that said. If you are trying enjoy your meal or having a conversation with someone in your party, or the waitress, repeating yourself is often necessary because the television is “so dam loud”. So loud in fact that it takes away from almost everything positive about the place and you leave there with your ears ringing; as if you were in a rock-en-español concert. It wasn’t always like this but lately we’ve had to request the volume reduced so we can hear our conversations. then, no sooner that it is reduced, someone in the kitchen turns it back up…smh. Makes you wonder if the owner realizes people come for the food, not the loud af tv.

I ordered the steak dinner and they gave me TORTILLAS WITH MOLD ON THEM. The steak itself was really salty. THE RICE AND BEANS WERE COLD. This was a $25 dinner by the way. Avoid this place like the plague. Never again.
