Cleveland Landheart
El Lugar has been a favorite of mine for many years. When I was in college at TJC I frequented El Lugar probably a couple time a week. I moved almost 20 years ago and my career as take me from Tyler to many states. I was back in town recently and OMG what a treat. Not only was I greeted by the same faces from 20 years ago the food was simply amazing. I was so glad to see they are still serving the people of East Texas so many years later and the food was as delicious as I remembered!

I mean drop the burritos down 3-5 Dollars or atleast get or make bigger tortillas. 30-40$ for 2 small burritos, idk that ain’t right there good but not worth 15-12$ a burrito

It’s hard to choose which menu item you want because they’re all so mouth-watering. You’ve gotta try their burrito with avocado because when you put their green and red sauce on it, nothing can compare!

By far the best tortas in Tyler. Beef is great but the chicken is next level good. Been to virtually every Mexican shop in town and nothing compares to there food.
