This spot is pretty good.. it’s a Mexican restaurant with your typical Mexican menu items nothing really stands out but the food is good. Stop in and try it for yourself. Prices are reasonable and portions are fair and tasty .

When I first walked in it felt like the air conditioner was not working. I order a augua de piña drink which was refreshing . I also ordered a carne asada torta and tasted good considering the bread was burnt. I would consider going back and giving the restaurant another try.

I had them customize me a wet fish burrito and it was the best one I’ve found in Palm Springs and honestly in a while I order fish burritos everywhere I go and this one was up there sooo delicious I highly recommend Taqueria El Guero!

Customer service was decent. They didn’t bring me everything I ordered. Noticing the girl eating chips and licking her fingers made me not want to finish any of my food. The Al Pastor had no flavor and looked very bland. The birria tacos were dry and flavorless as well. Our chimichanga was warm at best with cold beans on the side. Asked for salsa and they bring me one little container for 4 tacos.

Loved this place. Had great Heuvos Rancheros at 9pm on a saturday and they were cooked perfect. My friend thoroughly enjoyed his Chile relleno. The Palomas were spot on and refreshing. Authentic Mexi-Cali food.

Meh food for sure, speaking of the main course. However, the flan was 4/5. Service was also meh. I watched several others get pretty decadent service, but I sat there forever waiting to take my order and also waited forever for the table to be cleared and bill brought. I was alone and I saw groups of 3-4 come in after me and were served and dismissed much faster. And when she took my card to run it, she brought back the final receipt with no ability to add a tip. That leaves me in the jerk position of being a non-tipper because I wasn’t made aware of this when she took my card, and don’t carry cash. Though the service wasn’t awesome, it wasn’t bad enough to not tip.
