This may be the best mom and pop place for legit Mexican food we have ever had. The carne asada tacos were delicious. The beans were not overly watery like some and had lots of flavor. The quesabirria was good without even having to use the consomme. The salsa bar was filled with flavorful, spicy, and delicious salsa. The creamy avocado one was my favorite but the chunky was spicy and full of veggies. There are quite a few tables if you want to eat inside or they package it to go. Staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. This won’t be our only visit to this place while we are in town!

Great spot, right on the corner. Friendly staff and quick service so it’s always a great spot to stop on the way if you’re headed out or looking for a bite. Decent sized menu full of classic items and big flavor all around. 10/10 does not disappoint as the local Mexican joint.

The service was great and the food was just ok. I do think the food could use a bit more flavor. The tacos de lengua were pretty good, however, I like mine a little greasier. The California fries (Carne Asada fries) could use some fresher guacamole and crispier fries. I’m not sure that crinkle fries get as crispy as regular fries. I must say, I have never seen anyone add refried beans to the fries like that, and that is something new that I appreciated.

What a great taqueria in Tacoma! This place may be inside of a converted gas station, but it has all of the taste of one of the finest Mexican restaurants around. I had their quesobirria tacos, and my kid had the langua taco plate. They were both amazing! Just a really good meal to have at a very decent price with very friendly staff in great service! Definitely going to come back here again!

Great authentic taco/Mexican food spot…..the birria was good…..was not what I was expecting for quesso birria…..was more of a birria burrito but was good just the same…

This place is our go to for any Mexican food! We love their tasty food and the service is great. Very friendly! Their food has the best flavor! I live 30 mins away and try to stop by when passing through Tacoma. We’ve tried just about everything here over the last few years, but our favorite is their breakfast burritos and sopes!

Very disappointed. I ordered my usual Taco steak salad and beef burritos for my sons. Unfortunately normally I’m very satisfied with their food but this time whoever prepared our food forgot how important it is to keep returning customers. Had lots of salad but barely no steak and refried beans.

I love this place! Absolutely delicious, real Mexican food. I’m addicted to the Barilla but you can’t go wrong with carne asada tacos. Or anything else on the menu. Prices are competative, service is quick, and the dining room is clean. I’ve been a fan for four years.
