I have tried this place a few times. Overall the food is decent and seems authentic. Yesterday I decided to see if they had traditional street tacos which they said they did. I asked if the street tacos come with lime wedges as is customary. They assured me their street tacos do come with lime wedges. I finalized my order and completed my drive through transaction. A bit down the road I decided to open the street tacos and try them out. There were no lime wedges to squeeze lime juice over the tacos as promised. $3 each street tacos with no lime wedges. The receipt also had no prices at all or total on it.

My daughter and I have been coming here for a year now. We are very picky when it comes to Mexican food and I have to say this restaurant is absolutely amazing. The food is so delicious and the customer service is outstanding! I mean who shares their candy with no hesitation not once but twice lol. Literally he shared his candy with me. Taqueria El Burrito in Auburn has become one of my local favorites for Mexican food. Their food is consistently fantastic, and I have loved every item that I have ever ordered there. If you eat beef, you cannot miss the quesabirria tacos with the consomme! I also highly recommend the shrimp burrito, chile colorado plate, and everything! I’m getting hungry thinking about this place! Also, the people working there are very sweet and kind. There is an awesome salsa bar inside! The inside looks like most taquerias.

Do you like ice cold margaritas? Does a flavorful, cooked to order taco salad sound yummy? Do you like a fresh salsa bar with warm tortilla chips? Me too! Taqueria El burrito has all of those and more. The fish taco salad was the best vs the carne asada taco salad. Also, ask for an additional shot in your margarita.
