People say the lady is grumpy however those responses lack Empathy for a language barrier. I started my order in English and ordered mostly in Spanish and it apppeared easier for the lady. Burritos are great. The world needs to be more understanding.

Echoing the other reviews – this place has been there forever and I fondly remember their burritos from my childhood. Coming back, the food is terrific but sadly the woman running the place is gruff and unfriendly, beyond just not smiling, you feel she doesn’t want you in there! Not the same burritos from my childhood, but the burritos are still good enough so I take the punishment!

One of the best burritos I’ve ever had! I ordered the ‘Everything’ and it was an explosion of flavors. Fresh, delicious and amazing! It was clearly made with love. This one-woman run little spot is incredible and I highly recommend it. Great service as well.

This place has been here forever I hadn’t been there in a while I brought my son for a tasty burrito But instead was met with a nasty lady Behind the counter who obviously hates her job. She yelled at me from the beginning never said thank you never smiled never gave us a bag for our food. She doesn’t wear gloves and barely wears a mask But gets p***** if you touch the sodas without her permission. Food was terrible also such a shame this place used to be good. Don’t waste your money here.

My girlfriend and I get burritos here at least once a week. They taste incredible, are PACKED, and are plenty big for a meal. The owner is incredibly kind, greets us warmly whenever we come, and knows our orders by heart. Great food at reasonable prices

Absolutely ridiculous. 1) The burrito and burrito container (naked) was very expensive . 2) The chicken container was so small and had mostly rice, very little beans and almost no chicken…what were we paying for?! The lady serving us needed a customer service class, but we would have easily let that go if the food was worth it. Save your money and go elsewhere.

SImply (i will not put an “e” in this word) put, this place has been wrapping burritos in G.B. for as long as many have been eating them. I do not know the amazing woman behind the counter by name, but we surely recognize each other, tip her well. She will eliminate your hunger with an amazing explosion of your expected flavors. every time.

If I am remotely near great barrington , I stop to grab an everything spicy chicken burrito. Worth every penny . I should try more of their stuff, but I’m a creature of habit . Just make sure to grab a napkin or two. The shredded chicken is covered in an awesome sauce that I wish I could recreate. But it’s a bit drippy. I prefer it drippy compared to some places that do a dry grilled chicken. Ten thumbs up . Yeah, that’s right .

I had their classic vegetarian burrito and it was fantastic. It had a very rustic, homemade flavor that you wouldn’t get in a mainstream place like Chipotle or Qdoba. Taqueria Azteca has stronger flavors and higher quality ingredients than those places as well. They also have plenty of options for vegetarians, vegans, and all other diet types. Definitely recommend.
