This food is absolutely phenomenal. The kitchen has 2 separate tandoori ovens, one just for Naan bread, and one for meats. It doesn’t get more authentic than this. Also the ice cream is made in house daily.

Very good ambience, atmosphere, music and hygienic. The food was really tasty and the beer and wine collections are really great, especially red wines. Special thanks to mr. Shamu. He recommended me very nice dishes like grilled fishes, tandoori chicken, curries and breads. I would love to visit again here. Go with your whole family. Really great service.

1st time eating here-all because of seeing a $5 off coupon on the back of the H‑E‑B receipt. Lol

We tried Indian restaurants around South Austin and I think this is the best one. We keep coming back not just because of their amazing Lamb Chetnay, Lamb Pepper Fry and their special rice with spices, but they are pretty good maintaining the food consistency. Something that is hard to find these days.

I had the Chettinad Curry with Lamb (see photo). It was delicious. Very aromatic and tasty. The briyani rice was tender and nice. Overall tasted great. A decent amount of lamb, and a lot of calories due to the curry sauce. Main complaint is it made me fart the rest of the day. I’ve had this happen when I ate dried fruit which contained sulfur dioxide before, so maybe there’s sulfur dioxide in the meal, or something similar. Other complaint is that it’s expensive at $19 (although that may be the norm around here).

The food was very nice. We liked everything starting from chicken biryani to mix veg and garlic naan. The dessert was very delicious and fresh especially my favorite was ras-malai. The staff was very courteous and polite.

Went here for dinner last night with my family. There was nobody in the restaurant only 1 table was occupied. This place is new and the people who operate Zaviya Grill has opened this place. It is authentic Indian food but the music and decor does not go with the theme of Indian. There was English songs/music.

Without a doubt, this Indian restaurant in the Austin-San Antonio area is a hidden gem that deserves recognition. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the inviting atmosphere and warm hospitality. The dishes served here truly transport you to the vibrant streets of India, with their authentic flavors and aromatic spices. With friendly staff and an unforgettable dining experience, I highly recommend this restaurant to all Indian cuisine enthusiasts.

So good, tasty, delicious, comforting, I love that you can make almost any dish into a vegetarian one. My husband’s favorite is their tandori chicken. Wish I live closer, I’d be eating there 1x a week at least.
