Let me start off by saying that the food was GREAT! Came out hot, very flavorful and fast. The reason why I gave 3 stars is because during our dining experience, a worker kept swatting some kind of bugs all over the wall, literally swatting non stop for about 30 minutes. At first it didn’t bother me but after the 10th swat I was instantly grossed out! She didn’t stop, from one wall to another, now ALL that I could think about is, (did a bug get in my food)? I just couldn’t unsee it guys, and believe me, the food was so good I hate that I did see this, I won’t be returning ONLY for that reason!

The food was good, I can eat those shrimp spring rolls ALLDAY, they even had grilled chicken spring rolls as well the meat was prepared to perfection. I think they need to work on the decor a little more its kinda dry inside. I definitely recommend this establishment

I am so happy to have Tan Tan here in Katy. We use to live in China town and Tan Tan was always a go to spot. This location has not disappointed one bit. Dare I say better than China Town location? Yes I do! Can’t wait till my next visit. Don’t sit to close to the door the cold breeze is brisk! If that’s all that is available it’s still worth it.

My family and I always end up here when we don’t know what to eat. They have a fairly big menu with a lot of variety. The food always comes out hot and fresh. Food is consistently delicious as well. Service is hit or miss. They are pretty busy almost every time we go, they’ve always been nice, but they are always on the go- so we may have to flag them down for more water or napkins. Overall we really like it here.

My family loves coming here when we don’t feel like driving to Bellaire for Asian food. We like to eat family style so the portion size for each dish is pretty big! They have a great variety of choices on their menu! It does get busy and service was very attentive. We love the interior design of the place and everything was flavorful. The tofu wasn’t really seasoned, but they did put salt and pepper on the side to dip the tofu. The canh chua was very sweet instead of sour which was slightly disappointing. So far this is the best Vietnamese/Chinese fusion place in Katy. We will definitely be coming back!
