Friendly staff and delicious ramen and okonomiyaki seafood pancake. Will have to try the sushi next time around and other menu items. Overall was very satisfied with our first visit.

Tried sashimi, sushi, and rice bowl dishes. Their dishes were good but not fantastic. They were good in first few visits but i slowly realized that their fish were not that fresh. The prices for dishes are reasonable. Their miso soup is terrible… always water down taste…

Sushi tasted like from grocery store, not fresh at all. Buns were absolutely tasteless. Fried squid was the worst I’ve ever had, greasy and dried up inside. Ramen was the only thing ok. But only ok.

Volcano ramen were decent. Chicken kaarage lacks flavor and crisp. It was more like soggy kfc bites without the flavor. Fried squid legs was very fishy, I eat seafood a lot and can tell the difference between fresh seafood and old seafood. I couldn’t stomach it, it was that bad. We ended up tossing the kaarage and definitely, the fried squid legs. Not something I would come back for, if I wanted ramen I’d look elsewhere.

I rarely write reviews on places. I was compelled to write one here because I was appalled at the portion size of my tonkatsu udon. Looking at the reviews, this isn’t the first time the portions have been considered too small. It was barely the size of the palm of my hand, and I can fit into kids gloves. The cutlet was also very dry. The pictures should attached here make it look bigger than it actually was. No problem with the service, but at $15, most of my meal was just udon.

Decent ramen. Liked it a lot. Ordered takeout. LOVED that the ingredients are separated in this little container above the broth. So all you do is lift up the top container of dry goods and dumb the contents into the broth below and you’re good to go with the noodles being all soggy.

I ordered the Tamashii Volcano Ramen. My initial impressions were that broth had very weak flavor and taste. Then I discovered a dead fly in my bowl! I got a full refund, but that definitely left me disgusted!

I loved this place, it had been a while since I had a good sushi and this place nailed it. The mango was perfect as well as the avocado, I’ve had many avocados way to green on the sushi and I was worried about that and they did not dissapoint. The flavors were mixing perfectly and the presentation eventhough its a food court area look good. Very much recommend the Tropical Roll!

At first the food was good and had a nice amount, now after a few months looks like they have all the portions half size down and the curry is not even thick anymore. Talking about donburis. Idk when comes about ramen. Hope they take this comment as oportunity to make it better. Also like someone said, karaage lacks crunchy factor. :/

The sushi was so fresh! It’s in the grocery store, so I assume they get the fish right when it comes in. It’s also reasonably priced. They have a sashimi appetizer for only $10! Best sushi I’ve had in Fairfax.
