Please listen to the reviews and avoid this place, at least for the time being. I went in a Friday evening, the restaurant was not crowded (roughly 5 tables of diners when I arrived). My server, not sure her name, was amazing and truly working as hard as she possibly could. I was able to place my order quickly and received drinks just as fast. However, food service was a different story.

The food was good. I recommend the crab ragoon for an appetizer. The Thai tea is great, nice presentation as well. I ordered the massaman curry, it does have some spice to it and is delicious. It is overly priced, in comparison to all the other dishes. My portion was so small compared to the rice and noodle dishes that came out.

I work near Tamarind and decided to try it as it was one of the only close Thai places that have my favorite Thai dish – Spicy Eggplant. While I somehow had to pay extra for the eggplant and they only had ground pork, overall it had a great spicy sauce and the portion was enough (for me) for three meals. I am excited to go back and try some of their curries. The only complaint I have is that their hours vary (I’m assuming for staffing issues) so you don’t know exactly what time they may open, but I enjoyed the food.

Crispy duck is not the whole or pieces of duck; it is a roll. Quite tasty but could be crispier. In defense, I don’t think you can prepare traditional crispy duck unless you called ahead. Nam Sod was very tasty. We recommend this restaurant. It’s a little hard to find.

We wonder why this yummy place often is lacking staff.

Idk if the food is good, cause the service was less than pleasant. We were ignored and three parties each who arrived more than 15 minutes after us were sat before us. Tried to talk with the hostess, but she wouldn’t engage and kept walking away. Needless to say we walked away and took our business elsewhere. TASTY THAI KITCHEN to be exact. A little hole in the wall located inside a gas station. The food did not disappoint and the service was welcoming and the flavors authentic I came back twice during my visit!

We are tourists in the area. The food was actually fresh and good but the service was awful. Our server Marcus was actually rude. Did not greet us politely. Not helpful and actually banged the dishes on the table. I am always a generous tipper, but did not feel like tipping. However a tip was automatically added to the bill. In spite of the good food we had a terrible experience.

Wow, my experience is similar to other reviewers… I was excited to check out this place. Went for lunch and it was suspiciously dead (empty). I waited several minutes at the front before acknowledged (was never greeted). There was a female employee on the phone with her back turned towards me. Finally an unfriendly male employee sat me. Zero personality. I took one look at their menu of overpriced offerings, paired with the unwelcome atmosphere and decided to go to the Mexican restaurant across the street. This place seems like it’s on life support.

Absolutely fantastic experience, great food, great service, really fair prices for the quality and serving size. I will be coming back as often as possible! This Pad Thai (THot) is one of the best I’ve tried anywhere in the US!

Right by the Ashville airport, tucked away in a little shopping center. The food was phenomenal, service was incredible, atmosphere was awesome, and unfortunately we were the only ones in the restaurant. Stop living in fear, stop being scared and let us all resume life. It’s a virus, that yes it is contagious, but if you have no underlying health issues you are more likely to be killed by a drunk driver. Last time I checked not only is drinking legal but it is deemed essential. Please support locally owned restaurants, they need your help during these hard times. Sure it’s easier and cheaper to visit one of the chain restaurants, but they don’t need your help.
