We needed a decent venue to host a group of foreign guests and Tamarind had no trouble accommodating our party of 12.

The restaurant was fairly quiet for a Friday evening, my family were probably some of the only people in the restaurant. The food was fantastic, but the portions seemed a bit small for the price of the dishes especially as they did not come with rice. Staff was welcoming and accommodating. The thai tea caught me by surprise as it was a bit bitter, one would possibly want some sugar as there’s only a splash of condensed milk.

Hmm?
Highly recommend! Staff was incredibly friendly and attentive without being invasive. The food was amazing; fresh, rich, and subtle. Each dish was very distinctive in its flavor and had just the right amount of heat – as ordered. I could eat there every week if I lived here!

Amazing staff, always coming back to our table to ask us if everything is okay and if we need anything. AMAZING Curry, so many flavors and spices. You don’t want to miss out on this place. The Garlic Naan is outstanding, you HAVE to try it. I’m not great at handling spice but I kept going back for the Fish Curry I got even though my lips were on fire. (medium) Very very good Mango Tango, would %100 recommend it. Needless to say this is a place you must visit.

Nice atmosphere, only two tables full at lunchtime. Great garlic na’an, but the tandoori chicken , although having a lovely sauce, was tough as shoe leather. The Tikka Masala with goat had no flavor in the bone-filled meat and the almost $20 biryani with shrimp was too spicey to eat and only had 3 shrimp. The pastry dome which covers it was nice. The service was fast and the gaunt worried-looking host was charming. Cloth napkins and glass stemware are also a nice touch. Everything is a la carte. The closest parking was all taken by staff. Not a good idea.

WOW! My mom, little sister, and I came in for an early dinner. To sum things up- everything was incredible! The environment was so calm and peaceful. The service was great! Very attentive but not in your face. And the food- SO GOOD. It was our first time trying Indian food so we were pretty clueless as to what we were ordering but we were given plenty of time to decide. The mangotini cocktail was incredibly refreshing, and the dessert was perfect to finish the experience. I’m not one to leave reviews but we most definitely will be back!!

So I should give zero stars if that was an option. I ordered Tandoori Chicken recently. Tandoori means grilled in a clay oven or an electric oven.

Went for take away dinner, and let me tell you, you will not be disappointed! First of all, when you pull into this place it is absolutely beautiful, the landscape in very inviting. Inside the restaurant you truly feel like you are dueling into an authentic Indian restaurant in India! The spiciness is not overwhelming, the food is incredibly delicious and the Naan, oh my God! You will not be disappointed. The portions are generous!

Very nice and clean restaurant. The food was very good. Menu could use pictures and dish descriptions to better ones dining experience. All dishes have onions and garlic in them. Not just ground spices. The service was very good. Appreciated the crafts of ice water on the table. Very affordable menu.
