It’s very hard for me to find a place with the specific taste I am looking for. I was raised in Mexico and things are made a bit different. If you know you know. Too often caldo de pollo is too salty, too greasy, or not enough chicken is added. But this place really impressed me. The best caldo de pollo I have had!! Great taste, tortillas were fresh and tasty, oh and another thing, I am extremely picky on my rice: their rice was fantastic. Also they know how to make a great salsa roja. I will be bringing my husband to try the lengua and other stuff.

I went there and the tamales weren’t good. I told the lady to taste the tamale and she even agreed that the masa wasn’t cooked properly. I also told her that the chicken was raw. Horrible. And I think they were selling those tamales from four days ago or so based on how they tasted. I really don’t recommend this place. Specially if you are pregnant.

Bought some tamales and carnitas the other day and boy were they good. I called yesterday to place an order for pickup today at 9:00am and even called 15 min ahead to inform them that I was on the way.It wasn’t ready and was wrong, lady apologized and asked if I could come back in an hour . Got my order and she didn’t charge me for 1 doz of the tamales for my trouble. I still say to come and try it out. David

Unfortunately my Mother and I never tried the Menudo or Tamales. All 12 seats (inside) were taken and waited for a while, but no one was moving. We’ll have to try them soon and hopefully a better review. Staff was friendly tho and seemed understanding.

Great tamales and the menudo was excellent. It wasn’t greasy and the pieces were cut small. I hate having menudo steaks on my bowl so this was perfect. And lots of pozole.

First of all paid with a 20 cash. They told me the total would be 10 gave me 3 bucks back didnt notice till I got home. Then the tamales taste no nasty, really dry the rojo I can taste they didn’t wash the meat correctly eww. Never again.

TERRIBLE service, I don’t think I’ve ever been to such a terrible spot. My parents ordered the tamales and the señoras there are extremely disrespectful and they tried to say my mom had “stolen” a order that we never got in the first place. My dad was able to get his money back but I do not recommend that place. Very very disappointing.

Tamales smell bad. People aren’t washing their hands after handling money, I witness a man call the cashier out on it and she got very defensive. I just came here as a last resort but never again.
