Came in right at the beginning of the lunch rush. No tap pay, but that’s alright. Waited an unreasonable amount in general, however when our food did arrive it was not packaged as ordered and the tamales were COLD in the warm green chili. One was still FROZEN. Rock solid. I took one bite and asked for a refund. This was such a bad experience and not to mention a waste of a lunch break. Hope they get their act together before they make someone sick. Not typical of what you’d expect at tamale kitchen. Thumbs down.

Hey, let me tell you folks, I stopped by this Tamale Kitchen 4 joint in the suburbs of Denver and boy was I pleasantly surprised! I ordered an egg and potato burrito, hold the lard, and let me tell you, it was delicious! I mean, I’m not one to give compliments easily, but this burrito was so good, it should be illegal!

This place is so good when they make you the food you actually ordered. Keep getting bacon egg and cheese burritos with no bacon. Also didn’t get the drink I ordered. The one on Kipling though is amazing every time I order from them. This is via DoorDash.

Update: The guy behind the counter was so visibly annoyed every time another customer walked in at 6:45 on a Saturday day evening, waaay before closing time. Like I’m sorry sorry to bother you with my business bro ♀️ The enchiladas weren’t cooked all the way and just had unmelted shredded cheese inside, same with the quesadilla, undercooked/unmelted. They put green chili on the enchiladas instead of enchilada sauce, which is a shame because their enchilada sauce is the bomb and the green chili is spicy af. The crunchy tacos were great, per usual. The other problem with this place is that they NEVER answer the phone and you NEVER know if they’re actually going to be open or not, despite the posted hours. I would LOVE to give you more of my money but can you at least follow the posted hours, cook your food properly, and use the right sauce? It’s a running joke that this place can be devoid of customers and they still don’t answer their phone Maybe you need better employees?? Or maybe you don’t like making money

Have to change my 5 star to now a 2. Being a kitchen Manager myself and seeing a big bag of thawed RAW bacon just sitting in a cart not being used for the 10 mins I was there, turned me off. Food Borne Illness is a thing. REALLY enjoyed coming here.

Would be 5 star if they could either upgrade their togo containers from the styrofoam ones that either break when you cut your burrito or are upside down because the employees seem to not understand how gravity works and will put your smothered burrito practically upside down in the bag so all your sauce, which is good I will admit, ends up at the bottom of a plastic bag. Seems like an easy fix but the owner has been stubborn about it when you call them out on how it effects their customers. Oh well. Guess you can’t win em all. 3 stars and annoying instead of 5 stars and awesome.

I come here often to buy a couple of burritos, so I went last night and got a breakfast burrito but they forgot to add the potatoes so it wasn’t good, I called around 7p but nobody answered, so I called back next day to see if I could possibly get a remake and I had the burrito and my receipt, the lady said yes.. I went and she was very friendly and explained that they have new staff and she apologized and so as the older balding man that cooks the food was remaking it he had attitude asking her about the burrito and potatoes shaking his head in front of me, seeming upset that he had to remake something they messed up.. just not friendly. This place makes plenty of money and the way he acted was as if they were on the verge of shutting down.. I didn’t appreciate the way he showed customer service over a very small mistake on their end towards me. I spend plenty of money there. The other staff seems to show excellent customer service and thank goodness because if it wasn’t for the nice girl that day I would have matched that guys energy.. retirement is needed for this man.
