I just arrived into town and didn’t want to cook. It was very hot out. Stopped here for some chicken tenders and fries and an order of mozzarella sticks to go. Walked to the grocery store behind the restaurant to do some quick shopping while I waited for my food. All was good.

The food and service used to be very good at the Tall Pine. Over the last 3 visits however, the service has dropped from 4 to 1.

I don’t come into town very often, but when I do I have to stop at the Tall Pine! Was not greeted or even acknowledged. 3 minutes into sitting down. After 15 minutes I wanted to leave, but i had just placed my order. That restaurant is too small for catty, bullying behavior. These are grown women with no shame. I was more disgusted with the drama then my burnt Hamburger bun…

Waited over 20 min for burger and fries when I was THE ONLY PERSON outside for food. Pretty sad. Should be a one star. They ask your name so they call your name when food is ready. Never ever got a call. So I finally went up, and at this point I’m very unhappy, she asks my name and turns around and my food is sitting on a counter and she hands it to me and says nothing. Super lame.

Love this place!! Super sweet staff and they work very hard. It’s always super busy! Amazing club sandwich and butter finger ice cream!

Lots of different fried goodies. We had the jalapeno poppers, pork bites, and cheese curds. Not the biggest fan of the pork but it wasn’t bad, the other two were wonderful. They have quite a few options for sandwiches and burgers. I even saw a chimichanga on their menu. To be honest though I was really there for the milkshakes. They do not disappoint! Almost any flavor you can think of, Plus lots of add-on candy bit options. We got a huckleberry one that was super smooth and creamy. Also an Irish cream one with butterfinger bits . Food was great and the (I’m thinking locally made) outdoor seating tables and very cool.

We ordered a large Taco Salad, I assumed tacos salads came in a taco bowl or maybe with some kind if chips around it. I guess not at the Tall Pine, just a salad with hamburger on it.

The bacon cheese burger is what we both had was amazing. We also ordered onion rings,, very salty. and over deep fried almost to crunchy to eat. The staff was fast and efficient and kind the owner seemed very down to earth and cool. Thank you tall pine.
