I wish this place did dine in. I hate doing take out. It is a bit of a wait if you order there so I suggest calling Im your order. The crab puffs were good. I didn’t like the crab fried rice. It had a tuna like texture and it smelt too fishy. It was mushy. I hit the chicken panaang curry. It was good flavor. I would go back and try a few more dishes.

Had to go back on my 5 star review because the second time I went it was terrible. Chicken is tough (which it was before too) but on top of that the soup and curry has a weird fishy taste and smell. Completely inedible. Soup isn’t even made with the same ingredients/veggies. The rolls were completely stale and soggy on the inside. Really wanted to like this place since it’s the second time I’m ordering in the same week but wish i could give it 0 stars for inconsistency and weird taste. Better off going somewhere else so you don’t waste 25 dollars like I did.

This is the best Thai food I’ve had in years. The food really blew me away. I’d say the food was phenomenal. I’m so glad I went. The service was also great and our waitress was kind and attentive. The restaurant is very tiny with only a few tables, but they also do take out. It’s definitely worth going hands down. Some may say that the prices are high, but I think it’s worth going. Sorry I took pictures after we already started eating. We had pad see ew, orange chicken, chicken noodle, and vegetable medly with chicken.

If you’re l king for authentic tasting Thai food, this isn’t it. The four plus star reviews online brought us way out of our way to try Ta Lew Thai Bistro. Unfortunately, this American style Thai food does not taste like authentic Thai. With that said, the restaurant was completely empty when I arrived. The staff, however, was pleasant and the food was already prepared and ready-to-go. The restaurant appeared clean as well. Back to the food. I gave this restaurant three stars instead of two, because I can tell they made an effort to make the food well (food presentation and cleanliness) it’s just not authentic or flavorful. The orange chicken was the least liked of the four entrees ordered. The flavor of the orange chicken sauce was unique, different from other restaurants I’ve tried, and didn’t taste good. The chicken was also a little hard to chew. The combination fried rice had unusually large pieces of broccoli and it too was lacking authentic flavor. On a positive note, the pad Thai tasted okay and was the best of the four items ordered, costing $51 in total. I would have liked to rate this restaurant four stars because the staff was nice and the food was clean, but based on this being a Thai restaurant, the food not tasting like authentic Thai food, and the entrees lacking flavor, three stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️ was the most I could rate Ta Lew Bistro. If the Thai food you prefer doesn’t have to taste totally authentic, consider giving Ta Lew Thai Bistro a try.

I have ordered many times at this location on Highley and Ray and the food is always delicious, but the amount of protein in The dishes has gradually shrunk. The last time I ordered I thought it was a fluke, but this time I ordered and got even less. It was maybe half a chicken breast in the sweet and sour dish. I love that the food is fresh and lots of veggies but they are skimping on the protein and that’s the main thing you pay for. I asked my husband and he said his dish was the same. Little protein. Disappointed bc the food is great.

We read the review online and decided to order 2 fried rice and 2 pad see ew to take out. The food was not cooked properly after we picked it up. The fried rice rice was soggy and wet, and the vegetables and meat were boiled. They mixed rice with boiled vegetables and meat and called it fried rice. This is terrible. Why are you in business to cheat and lie?

The Pad Thai was surprisingly dry. The drunken noodles were better, but nothing amazing. Not sure if it was a one off but every was just very dry.

We tried this place after being suggested to us. The place is smaller than what we expected and it could get busy even on weekday lunch. One less star because if you sit downstairs and there’s long line, people are standing next to you while you’re eating. They have more tables upstairs and it’s always what we chose if there’s available. Now, the food. There are really really good! We’ve been to almost all Thai restaurant between Gilbert, Chandler and Tempe. The portions are big, we could not finish them. It’s worth a try.

I have been here before, but this time was even better. I ordered the Wanton Soup with Shrimp, but it smelled so good and tasted so amazing I didn’t even take a picture. LOL But you have to try it!!! The best in the valley! I also got the yellow Curry and Ginger Chicken and eat way too much. Super clean place with a staff that really cares and tries hard to make your visit enjoyable. Thanks guys, it was fantastic!
