It’s a descent spot. The service is good. The food can have more flavor but it’s not bad. I had the tacos dorados the presentation is nice (pic attached) the flavor of the chicken is bland. To be fair I’m puerto rican so I’m used to that intense flavor/salt. I would go again and maybe try something different.

Unassuming little storefront run by very nice people, and the food is terrific. Both the husband and wife understand food. Could the dine-in experience be a little nicer? Sure, the space is a little hectic and simply decorated, but the food is good and the service is very pleasant. Worth a visit.

On a road trip from Atlanta to New England, we went to Talvera in New Windsor for dinner. What an absolutely fantastic restaurant. The Mexican cuisine served there is different than that served in most other Mexican restaurants we have been to in the US, and much closer to excellent restaurants we have been to in Mexico. We had the Pipian Verde, pollo enchilada and flan. The dishes were beautiful to look at, very flavorful and distinctive and simply delicious and fresh tasting. The flan was not too sweet but rich tasting. We wish they were in Atlanta so we could return often. Finally the owner is wonderful and friendly and explained to us that virtually everything was made in house. We loved this restaurant.
