I had an incredible experience at Taj Mahal in Pacific Palisades. The restaurant served authentic North Indian cuisine that truly transported me to India. The flavors were rich and traditional, and the staff, particularly Sunny and Neetu, were amazing. They adeptly adjusted the spice levels based on my preference and even prepared dishes with my favorite vegetables. If you’re seeking a genuine taste of India, Taj Mahal is a must-visit. I can’t get enough of their delicious food!

Food is good! Only complaint is every time I’ve ever done the “delivery” option on their website, they change it to pick up without notifying me. Just frustrating since you are expecting it to be delivered, and then by the time you realize the food is cold.

The tikka chicken was a great dish and the BEST part were the chutneys they gave you! I loved the tamarind one. The service was quite slow though. The naan was great

Don’t fall for this place — major rip off. Their “combo” deals are quarter-servings, not equivalent to their regular meals, and nothing comes with rice. You have to order it separately, which is unheard of for an Indian restaurant. For the price it’d be better to drive into Santa Monica if you don’t mind the hassle. If enough ppl complain they might make a more reasonable menu. Maybe.

Tikka Masala was watery and rice does not come with small portions.

Great food, quick and friendly service — and it’s nice to know, that in this era of skimpflation, that some places go above and beyond — the only sauce I like is the mango chutney. Usually restaurants guard that stuff like rum on a pirate ship, but these guys put a whole 1/2 quart in my to go bag.

First time, last time. This is not what Indian food is supposed to taste like. Chicken tikka masala ($17) was way too sweet. Lamb vindaloo ($17) was near tasteless and tough. Rice (not included, $6 extra) was soggy and bland. Garlic naan ($4) was chewy, had an odd smell that wasn’t garlic, and seemed like it was cooked in a microwave. We paid $58 for a tiny meal we did not enjoy.

Great comfort Indian food in the heart of the Palisades area. Service was great, and the food was one of the best Indian food I had in a while. Reminded of home made fresh food, cooked with right amount of oil and spices. The tandoori chicken was fresh and perfect!

Just ordered from them last night for the first time. Great experience. Will return. The woman who took our order of the phone was super sweet and I wanted all white meat chicken for the chicken eaters in our family and I wanted tofu masala and wanted mine spicy. The food was delicious. Really good. The Garlic Naan was not dried out. The order came with pappadams. There also is a BIG variety of things to order and I ordered something I’d never had – I forget the Indian name but it is Manchuria Style Cauliflower. Very tasty. They also have these giant paneer meatball type things on the menu which I will try next. Everything came exactly as ordered in sturdy reusable containers. Free parking underneath if you can’t find street.
