Very welcoming & kind, helpful staff. Quick & efficient but also friendly & patient with my questions. Great food. Clean, light & bright. Have tried several items, both from the counter and off the menu to order from the kitchen, and all were excellent. An off- menu special of BBQ rib was mouth-watering, tender and flavorful. I’ve also ordered mofongo to go in the past, and that was delicious and well-packaged for transport. Picture is my friend’s meal because I wolfed mine too fast!

Finally decided to give this place a try. Upon arrival I was greeted with the friendliest staff. The selection of food was amazing but what really made this visit a five star rating was… As I was paying for my service the owner greated me with the most welcoming heart and proceeded to ask me if I’ve ever tried their ribs. I told him this was my first time, he went and handed me one. I thanked him and then walked out. In the car I tried the rib, let me tell you that was the most juiciest and most fall of the bone rib I’ve ever had. At that moment I was sold. Will definitely be visiting them again for their amazing service.

Paid a visit to Taino while in town. I was pleased with the presentation of the food, the quality, and especially the flavors. Deliciously prepared with fresh ingredients by expert hands that are true to the flavor and the quality that holds the goodness of authentic Dominican Cuisine. I took notice that both owners are fluent in English and Spanish while treating the customers with the unique warmth, attentiveness, and humility that characterize the Dominican People. They addressed everyone very courteously in Spanish/English due to the high volume of Spanish speaking customers and when anyone indicated they preferred English, they instantly spoke English, which to me was impressive how they can move from English to Spanish and viceversa. My experience and observation has always been favorable as they bend over backwards to provide a pleasant experience for all the customers (which moved me to write this review after several infrequent and unannounced visits). They take suggestions graciously and seriously ( I was one of the customers who casually said: “ it would be nice to have this meal with a good cold beer). Next time came to Taino, I see a variety of beer (and Wines) and was graciously offered one to savor my deliciously prepared Dominican meal. I was also impressed with their community efforts demonstrated by their participation in the reduced price meal program for 60+ customers. Great food. Great people. Great customers.

This was my 3rd or 4th visit. I have been meaning to write a review. Taino is amazing! A hidden gem. The owners are so welcoming and warm, they make you feel right at home. The place is clean and spacious. I love the open kitchen! I got the fried chicken today, and it was outta the world. If you like fried chicken, this is the place to go. Fresh chicken chopped up, seasoned, battered, fried right there in front of you. If you drink, they have ice cold beers that you can sip on while you wait for your chicken. I have had their combo meals as well, and they have been delicious. I love the rice and beans, and their salad is really good as well.

Was craving empanadas while running errands haha Found Tiano restaurant and I’m so happy that I did. Carlos and Millie have recently opened up this restaurant. They’re both so friendly. The food is delicious. My sisters pork chops was so tender and moist. The seafood salad was seasoned well and refreshing. My pork and rice were amazing. The empanadas and alcapurria were fresh from the kitchen. Very crispy and flavorful. Prices are super cheap and the portions are huge. Our meals were a small and I’m stuffed. Will definitely come back soon.

Very tasty food. Pernil (roasted pork), chicken, arroz con gandules, beans, potato salad, garden salad and all the traditional Puerto Rican favorites. Deli-counter style ordering. Soft drinks. There doesn’t seem to be a liquor license so you won’t be getting a Medalla. The interior of location is brightly lit. Lots of seating. Not a lot of parking in front. Back parking lot is not very well lit and there is no back entrance for customers. Side driveway is very dark for walking as well. But I’m sure this will be taken care of because they seem very customer focused. They offer event catering and can host events on-site. I’m definitely going to go back and will be arranging some catering soon!

I hate giving bad reviews on a one time visit but I have to be honest. The rice was cold and the yuca was cold and slimy the pork taste amazing. Very clean place.

Amazing food, kind people, the only thing is it’s a bit pricey depending on what you get and I sometimes feel like the prices change from day to day on somethings.
