Great new place for fresh fish meals. Been here twice now and great on second time too. Indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of parking in back. Lots of Poke choices, salads and sandwiches. Fish tacos very good. Looking forward to coming back for more. For second visit .. here at noon and place was busy.

My fiancé and I enjoyed Tails Up Maui for the first time. We had lunch including the blackened opakapaka fish sandwich, fish tacos and the soup of the day. It was a wonderful experience! Chef brain has a gift at making great food. Tails Up Maui also sells fresh fish right off the local boats. If you are on Maui do yourself a favor and check them out! We will be back

Ordered the Miso Bowl with Tako and Ahi. big portion for $25. Wonderful combo on the plate. Partner had Kraken Salad the smoked Tako was the bomb. One of the best Octo’s we’ve had. Definitely kicks up the neighborhood food options up several notches. Not cheap eats but so Ono.

Nice to find something new. Great attitude and service. My wife ordered a crab BLT and I ordered a poke bowl. It was fresh and healthy. Nice woodwork and decoration, it felt welcoming.

Was excited to check out this new eatery in the local neighborhood. Walked in to make a take out order. Was not greeted at all. Not even a glance (it was not busy even though it was lunch time) but ok whatever, nothing to get too upset about. The lady that took our order was cordial. Left a tip for that. Sat down and waited. A few more people came in and they got big greetings and hugs, probably friends of the workers since they were talking story then they sat down. Meanwhile we are still waiting. 20 minutes went by and next thing I see, those people got their food and was eating. Now I’m wondering why is our food taking so long since what we ordered did not require cooking. I’m sure my soup was in a pot already made. A couple more people come in and the workers took the time to explain items on the menu to them. How nice. We didn’t get that option. It’s been a half hour already. Still no order. A guy that works there walks past us and no acknowledgement or could have at least said let me check on your order or would you not wonder why we are there so long? Finally I see the lady that took our order on the ground trying to get something off the floor, she looks at me, turns around and grabs a bag that has been sitting on the counter for awhile and hands it to me. My other half seen that bag sitting there the whole time but thought that was someone else’s take out order. I told her, you mean our order was there the whole time? She doesn’t even give a sincere apology and said she didn’t see me in the corner yet my other half was right there, you could not miss 2 people sitting there getting all habut (irritated) trying to make contact with anyone that passed by. Unreal. The food was good. If you want just poke bowl this might not be the choice for you. Had more fancy stuff in it than rice and poke. See photo if you like all that in it. For the price, you can go Foodland or TJ’s for more rice and poke. Poke nachos was ok. Soup would have been awesome if it was hot and not sitting on the counter for half hour. Tip for the workers, everyone that walks through that door should have the same type of treatment no matter what ethnicity they are. I hope that was not the case but it sure felt like it. Trying to support small businesses (I even got the 8 dollar lilikoi drink) but kinda hard if you go and they act like they no need you.

Delicious food and friendly service. We had the fish tacos (blacked ahi), the avocado bomb, and 2 poke dishes. Everything was really good. The desserts (mochi donuts and cheesecake) looked really tasty but were sold out by the time we were done eating. We will definitely be back.
