Dined in on a Saturday evening around 7pm. There was a big crowd due to a benefit concert. We seated ourselves in doors and were served by Paige. It took about 25-30 minutes for our food to arrive. Paige checked on us regularly even though she was covering multiple tables. I ordered the cowboy burger with onion rings. The onion rings were fresh & homemade, cooked well but a little under seasoned. The Burger was good but either the grilled onions or the hearty bacon was a touch salty. The gyro was average and the fries slightly over salted. Ordered the coconut pie with ice cream but it was sent to the wrong table. Desert was packaged to go and was comped. The pie was perfect! Overall this is a neat local tavern with two bars and the live music was spot on. Cudos to hosting a benefit for a local family. We will give it another try soon. The service was excellent.

Had a great time at the tailgate tavern for dinner. Tried their loaded lamb fries, firecracker shrimp, and mac and cheese bites for appetizers. All were great, but the star of the show was the loaded fries. It was a combination of gyro fixings, and cheese fries and it was absolutely delicious; lots of different flavors, and textures all at once. For my main entree I got their signature tailgate sandwich with onion rings. Very delicious sandwich, and it tastes even better with the au jus. Onion rings were good too; nice and crisp and the batter wasn’t too overbearing. Our server was excellent too. I forgot her name but she had pink colored hair and tattoos. Very attentive, friendly, and brought a warm vibe to the establishment. Definitely come and visit when you’re in downtown Aiken.

Went in her tonight, as we have done a few times at this bar. We love the Gouda cheese bites. Sat at ourselves, as we have done multiple times. Not one server came and asked us what we wanted. Finally asked a server if we could have a menu. She brought us one, but she and all the other servers/waitresses/waiters, never stopped to ask us if we wanted to order. We thought that maybe if we moved to a different table, then they might ask us what we wanted, nope! Worst service we have ever experienced at this place tonight. Really disappointed!! Bartenders were great and ended up being our servers. They need to retain the serving crew I guess.

An absolutely wonderful meal. Khamron was the best server never missing a beat. The coconut strawberry Margherita was delicious. Caesar salad was very good. Chicken tenders were meaty and had good flavor. The highlight was the firecracker shrimp Tacos. Best shrimp Tacos I’ve ever had. They had open mic going on too and it was very nice. Overall a great meal.

We got the Mac n cheese bites, black and blu burger, and smoked lemon pepper wings with onion rings!!! Absolutely amazing!!! Everything is homemade. The wings fall off the bone. So delicious. The jalapeño ranch is a must!! Our new favorite spot when we visit Aiken.

We were in the area for an event downtown. We got there at 3:45 pm. A sign advised they’d be open at 4 so we waited. I realized I left my purse at home but I had a picture of my ID. The server advised he was fairly sure it’s ok but wanted to ask to be sure. The manager told him I have to have the physical ID. My biggest issue with that is that not everyone was being carded. I’m almost 40 and have a way to show my idea opposed to them picking and choosing who’s IDd. I wouldn’t go back

Food was good. Ordered a beer and then had an $11.25 beverage charge. Is that normal? Steakbites were amazing. Shrimp tacos needed more sauce.
