This place is amazing – great setting, the food is absolutely delicious and the host is great. My friend and I did the wine/sake pairing and it was so worth it.

This is place is an absolute gemstone. I will never be able to eat at sushi buffets ever again because this restaurant has raised my standards to heights never imagined before. They serve more than 13 dishes but you’ll need to ask for the secret menu. They also serve drinks. Shout out to Feri, the chef! Absolutely loved the host too. I will definitely be coming back with more friends!

Stumbled across this place with a few friends and cannot express how amazing Chef Feri was. His omakase and sake pairing were to die for and the laughs we shared just made it and even more memorable experience. I can’t recommend this beautiful place and gem enough. I am definitely looking forward to coming back.

My friends and I stumbled upon this little gem in Bowery and we were all amazed and felt like we made a friend by the end of the night.

Taikun is literally my favorite omakase in the world, amongst Michelin stars that are double and even triple the price. 6 seats. Incredible service. Incredible drink pairing (loved that one of the glasses was red wine that paired very nicely with the fattier pieces). I’ll be back for my third time soon.

Extremely high quality and delicious omakase; as someone who traverses this genre all over NYC, this is the best value I’ve found. Delicate and perfectly seasoned; the scallop, golden eye snapper, and smoked fatty toro were favorites. Can’t wait to return.

Amazing small omekase place. The sushi was clean, creative and refreshing. At $85 it was a steal. We even got a couple extra pieces after, though 13 pieces should fill most people up.
