Great place to stop on the way home after a long day when you don’t feel like cooking. Piled high nachos, yes please! Their burritos are divine. My son won’t let me get him one from anywhere else. Says these are just too good. I tend to agree and love it when he asks for one! Never had a bad meal here.

My fiancé got 5 pastor mini tacos and I got the Taco Special. The special comes with 3 mini tacos, rice, beans, and I drink. I opted for asada tacos and horchata as my drink. We also got a Mexican coke. Meat was tender and flavorful, rice and beans were good, and horchata was great as well. Service was also extremely fast. We didn’t even finish one song on the radio and it was already done!

Every other Friday is burrito night in my household and Metro Basilica’s hits the spot in the best way. Their food truck moved in around my neighborhood using the lot vacated by what used to be #grazetheyard. Was so sad when they closed a while back. Anyway have been getting dinner at Metro Basilica for several weeks now and so far, everything’s been so good. I’ve gone through their whole burrito menu and so far my favorite is the al pastor. Avocado is extra but they dont scrimp on the portions. Burritos, tacos, nachos come with your choice of protein at about $7. Avocado, cheese are extra. Reasonable, right?
