The 3 stars is not for the food itself, its the new ridiculous prices. They went from $7.00 burritos to $11-$12 burritos. There food is really good, but those price increases are insane.

I never write reviews but the food at Tacos Rapidos on Federal Blvd was not only over-priced but my food was TERRIBLE! My order was drive-thru, I ordered the Enchilada (Cheese) Combo (came with rice & beans). Their Red Chile was deep, deep red in color and had a very bitter taste, but what was so disappointing was the shredded cheese inside the corn tortilla was cold – not the warm, melted cheese that you get when the Enchiladas are baked – hmmm, seems like they skipped that step. Nope, they just rolled them up, wrapped them and sent them out the window. The garnish consisted of shredded lettuce – no diced tomato. Aside, from that the whole meal was tasteless. I won’t ever go there again and I suggest you not waste your money either.

The service at this location is much better than the nearby location on Evans. I love the food here. My review would be 5 stars but within the last few months the prices have been raised around 50 percent or more. A bean and cheese burrito went from $4.50 to close to $8. Other menu items went from around $8 to around $12. If you don’t care about the price I highly recommend the food here.

If I could give it 0 stars, I would. The prices were so high. I paid $32 for 6 tacos. The tacos were so oily that even my iron stomach couldn’t take it. The only seasoning on the lenguas meat was oil. They came with pico de gallo, which they didn’t mention on the menu. The person I went with is allergic to tomatoes (could get very ill), so I went up to the counter to ask for help. The person working the counter told me they were busy and he didn’t know what to do, because the menu says everything comes with pico. The menu said nothing about pico or, as he put it, “Mexican salsa” anywhere. I told him there was no mention of it on the menu, but he kept pushing that narrative and acting blameless until he asked another customer for their money and shut the window on me. Their actual salsa they give out with the tacos is flavorless and watery. This place would be out of business in Texas.

Started going here due to the line being shorter. I always order an order of Asada Fries and Adobada fries and a large Horchata. My bad for not checking them when we drove off, but never had a problem. We get home and this is what we were given. I call them to let them know and this was my response “oh ok thanks for letting us know”

Best place for Mexican food, and it’s brand new, lot of people complaint of the old location(On Evans Ave.) Because they won’t give you the receipt, but not anymore in this location, as always fresh and fast made food, i personally like the #10 carne asada, good job at getting this location (don’t know how crowded is going to get on weekends, specially the drive thru).
