Very good carnitas tacos ordered a 32oz Modelo to go with. Average prices. Pretty good atmosphere, not too busy at 6:30 on a Tuesday. A guy tried to sell me weed in the parking lot, so bonus if you’re a smoker. If I’m in the neighborhood and hungry I’d definitely come back. Great and friendly service!

First of all, great burrito. Not just a wrapped sloppy mess like Chipotle. Well crafted and grilled. Interior could use a little freshening up and restyling, but all the food I’ve gotten from there has been excellent.

I recently moved into a place by this restaurant. It seemed authentic. But it wasn’t. I lived in San Diego for a good share of my life so I know authentic Mexican food. I didn’t expect that from this place, but this was lazy, Mexican food. The thing that stuck at the most was the blatant nacho cheese out of a can. Probably cheese whiz. I ordered the pork with my chimichanga and it was two colors. Half Fresh. Half old. Half brown. Half pink. I’m all about giving second chances but it’s gonna be a while before a Tacos Lupita gets a second chance from me.

Tacos are made fresh and perfectly seasoned. They have a designated menu explicitly for vegetarians, which is appreciated. My favorite part is the array of salsas that they bring to your table without having to be asked. They were delicious and provided a range of heat to accompany your meal. Will definitely return!

Delicious and quick food sold at decent to cheaper than normal pricing. Got a steak burrito with complimentary chips and salsa for $8.50. Beer was good too, but cost $5 for a bottle. Lovely little hole in the wall – will return again soon.

My favorite taco place in the twin cities. Great burritos, tacos, very reasonable prices, and I love their green got sauce. It’s got a delicious flavor but it’s not too hot. I like that they charge 50 cents for additional salsas too so I don’t feel guilty asking for 4 of them with my burrito. A+

I’ve eaten many burritos in my day and Tacos Lupita has the BEST Burrito Americano with Carnitas meat I’ve ever had. If I could give a + after the 5 stars to denote every other 5 star rating I have wasn’t quite this good I would! Excellent flavors abound!!!! Well done gang!
