Best tacos in New Haven. On the pricier side but two tacos alone are enough for one person. They put a lot of guacamole on the tacos so it makes them filling.

I ordered the Taco’s Al Pastor. Everything at the restaurant is made the way the owner had them growing up. I asked for cheese to be added and that is not possible. No changes or substitutions are allowed. The Taco’s were large they did not skimp on the amount of meat. The flavour was not what I was used to. I did not enjoy them. I will not be going back.

I have been a huge fan of this place since it opened last year, everything from the decorations, the lighting and music that make the place feel more authentic. The food is delicious, the tortillas are handmade, the sauce is always fresh. I also appreciate that there are vegetarian options.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in CT!!!! They are always consistent and always friendly no matter how busy they may be, their service is exceptional and the food is top quality! You may think it’s a little on the pricey side but it’s absolutely worth it and the portions are super filling. The Tacos are great, the pozole is heart warming and the the torta is yummy, let’s not forget the guac and chips….salted and thicked to perfection. Try the agua frescas as well, I love how their horchata is not overly sweetened it has a nice balance. Stop in and say Hi to Edgar, chef and the team!!! They also have chilaquiles for brunch, that’s my next thing to try!

The food is outstanding. Very delicious. The service is super slow, at least during lunch time on a weekday. Understandable to some degree but they should expect this and be prepared. Prices are also pretty out of control. Two tacos, a quesadilla, and a drink $31 before tip and a 30 minute wait with nowhere to sit because of such a small place, without even a bathroom.
