Gave this place a try more than once. Got expired salsa or slimy lemons every time I’m not even a picky eater, I can deal with a fluke here and there but seriously check your salsa before you pour. Today it wasn’t just the salsa or lemons, the chicken had a funky smell, our plates went to the trash. Not for me!

The whole order was incorrect (ordered through door dash, receipt was correct). Only 1 correct item in the entire $60 order. Restraunt REFUSED to fix the problem and argued about the fact the items in the order didn’t match what was given. Manager would not acknowledge or make right the fact his (Luis-manger) bagged items improperly and served us food we did not order and will not eat. $60 is not cheap!! DO NOT USE THEM!!!! IF I COULD RATE THEM LESS THAT 1 STAR I WOULD!!!

Other locations of LA Villa are great…but this one is frustrating. I have gone multiple times and the cooks need to be trained. Every time I ask for AL Pastor they give me Asada! If they don’t know the difference then they shouldn’t be back there. Never fails. This morning I gave them another shot and I got asada meat with the juice of al pastor like seriously!

This place is always clean and the food is fresh. I’ve had their Queso Birria tacos, Cali Burrito, and their carne asada fries. The meat is well seasoned and the rice and beans freshly made. I recommend it!

I am new to the area and have eaten a lot of Mexican food. By far Tacos La Villa is the best tasting and friendliest staff. The tamales are amazing. Almost as good as homemade.

A few months ago I wrote a review about Tacos La Villa’s deceptive practice of showing a photo of THREE tacos on Uber Eats under the heading of TACOS. This would imply you are getting (3) tacoS with the photo shown. Many people have dissed Tacos La Villa in their reviews for this practice, including myself. I was contacted by Tacos La Villa after my review and asked if I would consider taking my post down if they gave me a $40 gift card. I told them I would edit it – but not take it down until they changed the misleading photo. The review is under the Ming Avenue location. I was instructed to go to the Rosedale location to get the gift card so Rosedale gets this nice review today. I took that worthless gift card to the State Road location who informed me that they DON’T ACCEPT GIFT CARDS! This company is just as sketchy and shady as they come. First they tried to bribe me for a better review and then after falling for the bribe – they burned me again!!! DO NOT GO HERE! Read other reviews. They have a 2-star rating for a reason! They earned it!!!!

Went for lunch on 7/17 @10pm and ordered 2 birria tacos and ate them after a while started getting sharp pains in my stomach and nausea like 30 mins later this pain continued when I got home and the pain n throwing up ended up so bad ended up at the ER & said it was good poisoning , so dont recommend this at all if you ain’t trying to get food poisoning!!!
