This little diamond in a small step mall is the real deal! I’d eat Mexican every meal if I could and Joven did not disappoint. Healthy potions, reasonable prices ($12 for 3 tacos and a side of beans). Delicious! Friendly staff recommend some options that I hadn’t had before (cabeza) and I was very happy with the choice.

I asked for 2 shrimp and 1 steak taco and I received 1 flour tortilla with 2 slices of radishes and a dab of sour cream, 1 shrimp (supposed it taco) and 1 ground beef NOT STEAK tortilla taco! I was charged extra for sour cream and it was dabbed on the radishes not in my tacos I didn’t receive steak and it was like they laid the tortillas in the carryout then just threw everything in hoping it landed inside. WORST SUPPOSED TO BE TACOS EVER! That’s why they tied the bag closed when handing me the take out

Food was good enjoyed it. Refried beans were a little runny but they were good just not as thick I’ve had other places. They have bottle soda no fountain drinks which isn’t bad. Just letting you know. The food and staff was good and friendly.

Had lunch yesterday at Taco Joven. I had two tacos and a side of rice. I really like the food. It is very authentic Mexican food. For a lunch for two we spent over $30.00. Just an FYI. I would go back for dinner out.

Regular menu is delicious. All the tacos has been great. Some places will be cooked DRY, but we’ve been here 3 times and has been consistently GREAT! Service is GREAT as well, super friendly and make sure your meal is good. Margarita, Michelada, and Aguas Loca (Paloma) has been a great thirst quenchers. The interior is a bit loud. We had dined outdoors most of time because of nice weather. But overall, it is 1 of our 2 go to places recently in 2023.

I’m from Chicago and we have some of the best Mexican food. I’ve been to multiple Mexican restaurants in KY. This place has some of the best chorizo tacos I’ve ever had. Their plates are huge, everything I’ve had here is on point even the horchata. Don’t waste your time anywhere else, this is the place!!!
