Same great taste from when they use to be a food truck on the corner of Central and Washington. Later they bought the corner lot. Every single detail from the beans and sauces and drinks remind me of my childhood days because everything is the same. My parents took us every weekend for years after church.

The service was fine, but you could tell they hate their job. The food was honestly not that great. I ordered a burrito, and it was small and mostly a tortilla. The tortilla had a thick, not all the way cooked taste. I could not finish it. The meat was definitely low grade. The taco truck down the street out paces this restaurant without a doubt. This fast food restaurant looks run down almost like nobody cares about this place as long as they pull profit. I highly do not recommend this restaurant.

Wow! What a pleasant surprise. The food was awesome! The restaurant is kept extra clean which is very important to me. Definitely check it out. It was worth the drive to go there from Highland, California.

My Experience with Gavilan, say no more except delicious when you get that appetite wanting your favorite Mexican foods. I’ve seen the Gavilan restaurants in the LA areas and was always curious to wanting to try them. My girl decided we go to Gavilan and with no disappointments. Besides loving Champurrado during the fall and winter time to keep yourself warm, I couldn’t believe the Champurrado drink was served all the time, no matter what season it is !. I am very happy to have a Gavilan near me that stays open later for that late night cravings .

Lmaooo one time I went here with my friend and my brother. We stopped by near closing time, but we were still trying to dine in for a quick minute. They turned up the banda and gave us dirty looks to make us leave. Little do they know I happen to love banda, however my friend was offended. Why so rude to black people?
