This is a great little hole in the wall restaurant that Waxahachie needed! The food is awesome, pure authentic Mexican food. I had the bisteak huarache and limonada aqua fresca, very refreshing. Satisfying portion of food, meat was cooked perfectly. Their green salsa was very flavorful and spicy as well. Very friendly staff, will definitely be eating here again while in town visiting family. You can dine in or order to go.

Omg! These tacos were soooo good. We ordered bistek, barbacoa, and pastor. The meat was so clean and not greasy at all. The tortillas weren’t drenched in oil. The torta was amazing as well. The staff were so nice. I felt like I was eating at my family’s home.

Hands down the very best from the fresh cooked chips and the fresh salsa, at this point I knew it was going to be good. Was in the mood for a tostada but not on the menu no worries the family owned business was more than happy to make them for me, very very good! Service was impeccable! It was a home run and will definitely be back!

So glad we stopped by this restaurant. Delicious food. We are glad we don’t have to drive to Traders Village now to get a Machete. The people running this place are really nice. The service was awesome. Family vibe. The Machete was huge and the texture and flavor of the tortilla…mmm mmmm. The juicy meat was delicious. Gorditas were the best we’ve had and we’ve had many gorditas. Give this place a try. You will be a returning customer trust me.

I will try again because of other ratings. But, the Machete with barbacoa had so much fat and grease it was not good. Nice people and probably great food just not today Ron!!

Found this place on Google Maps and stopped by while on a family trip. My wife got the birria tacos, I got the steak machete and we got our kids some barbacoa tacos. All of the food was delicious and very flavorful. Owners were very friendly and had a great conversation around the restaurant and the food. Definitely recommend this place if you’re passing by Waxahachie!

I’m Hispanic, and finding good Mexican food in red oak and waxahachie is tough. Most Mexican restaurants have nasty unauthentic salty food, but this place is actually good. The food was fresh and the flavors were great! I highly recommend anyone to go here.

So glad I found this little gem! The food and service were excellent! Would be really nice to be able to order online though. I almost skipped over it because of that inability. Highly recommend.

This place wasn’t bad. It’s really small inside. The barbacoa taco was a bit salty. Tripa taco was good. The wife’s chorizo taco was undercooked. Menudo didn’t have much flavor until I added some extra seasonings to it.
