$10 for a veggie burrito (with no beans or any other protein!) is pretty steep, and it automatically came with cheese and sour cream despite them not being mentioned in the description, which is unfortunate since many people are vegan and/or lactose intolerant.

My boyfriend and I stopped at this taco truck Friday night. I woke up out my sleep at 3am with diarrhea that continued all morning long and the whole next day. I ate chicken taco and half of shrimp quesadilla . This was the only thing I ate that night. I have been having to use the bathroom ever since. I’m also 35 weeks pregnant so that isn’t good. I went in my fridge to inspect left over food and realized the shrimp was not even cooked all the way. Pictures attached! I’m praying I don’t get listeria. I will be reporting to health department. $30 wasted.

Best tacos in the RDU/Chapel Hill area! Was afraid to try tacos in NC but these do not disappoint ! Plus they close late (1am I think) which is great and deff worth the drive. I highly recommend Tacos El Niño. Plus their horchata is 10/10 too!

Good stop for tacos, which are put together to order. The chorizo is ground fine as you’ll see in my photo. Friendly service. A few tables with umbrellas nearby, or just get them to go. Enjoy.

Great food truck food. Shrimp tortas were delicious, if a little greasy. Chips and salsa were well seasoned and pleasingly crunchy. Mexican hot chocolate tastes like a churro sauce!

I have only tried the tortas here so maybe I will update the review once I have tried some other dishes. When I first ordered the torta, I thought the price was a little high compared to what I was used to. Then when I opened the takeout box I was SHOCKED at how huge it was. It filled the entire container, would easily feed 4 people if you ordered some sides. The bread was yummy – grilled on the outside, fluffy and chewy on the inside. The fillings were good, definitely needed to have some spicy salsa added but I guess there are a lot of people here who won’t eat spicy food. Looking forward to my next visit.
