I discovered this food truck today and surprisedly the foods was so great. I bought a mix of 5 mini tacos (asada, pastor, birria, carnitas and cabeza/barbacoa). The taste at this spot is much better than other fancy restaurants that claim to offer authentic Mexican food, but that food truck was more authentic. Go there and try!

First time trying. I had the quesabirrias and he had the quesadillas. Both were excellent! You can tell it’s fresh and authentic. He also gave us a ceviche tostada as well as a beef tostada while we waited. Those were delicious as well! It’s off the beaten pata, but definitely worth it!

We came here after hiking at Government Canyon. We didn’t know what to order, so he made us a plate of each meat so that we could try it. We both got tortas, I got birria and my partner got carnitas. Super good. Is just a little food truck with great food!

Got the pastor plate and it was yum!! Rice and beans were a little lacking in flavor but the meat made up for it. My husband got mini tacos and loved as well. Definitely recommend this place! Very friendly as well.

So this place my family and i have been to a few times and we would go because they were close and seemed friendly. But after last night and todays expirience, our household of 7 will never go back ever again. Last night my husband asked for a birria burrito and i asked for a cabeza burrito. It was very late when we got our food and they were getting ready to close. So when we got home we found that my husband got his birria burrito and mine was a barbacoa burrito. I dont like barbacoa from the other times i have tried it. So when i seen that it was Barbacoa, i didnt eat it. The place was closed so i couldnt call them last night. I understand that people make mistakes so i would have just taken it back to exchange it for the right one. No big deal. So i called today and the man is yelling saying that barbacoa is the same thing as cabeza and so i asked why isnt the name the same then, im over here thinking that barbacoa is barbacoa and cabeza is cabeza but hes upset that since he knows how he cooks his food that im supposed to know too. I felt disrespected and im upset that had i known then i wouldnt have had a problem but when ive expirienced eating barbacoa before, i didnt like it. So him telling me why would i think its different offended me. After discussing this with my family, we will never go back ever again. How dare they yell at me for them having 2 different burritos barbacoa and cabeza under the same name. How was i supposed to know that? I would give them 0 stars if i could for their customer service. Yelling at someone for something they screwed up is rude. Just because someone calls to say that they made a mistake made him upset, Like how dare a customer say anything. They just lost 7 customers.

I’m from Monterrey, NL and can be quite picky when it comes to tacos, these are genuinely some of the very best authentic Mexican tacos I’ve had in San Antonio, I especially love the Alambre tacos. Do your self a favor and treat yourself to some.
