I’ve been to two other Tacos Chiwas locations and this one is my favorite. All of them have great food but I liked the atmosphere here and the bartender made some amazing margaritas. It’s also within easy walking distance to the Mesa Arts Center so a good place to grab a drink and bite before a performance.

Maya is the man!!! Can’t say enough great things about this place. The margaritas are so fresh and vibrant. Maya creates beautiful flavors with very fresh citrus, florals, juice and spices. Every drink was unique and outstanding! Tacos were incredible too! We literally got everything on the menu and I can’t wait to go back.There was a line when we got there and a line when we left. I really didn’t want to tell you about this place but Maya deserves the props!

Tasty tacos made with fresh ingredients and flavorful combinations, but definitely a bit on the expensive side. It gets very busy, so expect a wait. The atmosphere is lively, and the staff is friendly. If you’re willing to pay more for quality tacos and don’t mind the crowds, give it a try.

Try Tacos Chiwas if you are in the area. I highly recommend the Barbacoa and the Street Corn. The Asada, Cameron and Chiwas are also worthy of consideration. Nice bar and modern interior, coupled with a great atmosphere. It is worth the stop.

These guys are legit. They make real traditional Mexican food by a gourmet chef. He uses fresh high quality ingredients to come up with dishes next level. I have been here 4 times getting different options every time and blown away by each dish. They also have 12 beers on draft and a full bar. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area. Also Guy Fieri visited.

Place was decent, wasn’t a big fan because the pollo tacos were dry and overall the portion size of the tacos is on the small side. There is limited seating inside so we sat outside, nice during winter, not so good during the summer.
